Promise~Ben Howard
Belle
The smell of fresh cut grass and the light of the sun was soothing as I walked to the Coffee Shop. Today was going to be the best day ever. Harry and I were finally going out.
I said hello to the townspeople as I made my way there. Uncle John, Sookie, Marty, Stella, Shelly, all of them were good friends. They were old, though, but still were very sweet to me.
I finally made it to the coffee shop and sat, noticing I didn't bring my book with me. I just sat there and Zayn came in.
"Hey, Belle, can I sit?" He asked. I nodded, "Yea sure! Is that even a question?"
He chuckled, "I'm taking Perrie out today." He said, smirking. I smiled, "Where?"
"It's a picnic, then after that we go to the fair, and then we watch a movie afterwards, at my place." he smiled.
"Don't do anything stupid!" I laughed, he joined. "I won't."
"I'm going out too." I said.
His eyes widened a bit, "With who?"
I smiled, "Harry."
"Really? Wow, what are you guys doing?"
"I don't know, it's a surprise. But I'm pretty sure he's coming right now to meet me."
"That will already be a date." he said.
"It will be a pre-date." I laughed. I spotted Harry at the door, and smiled at him when he met my gaze. Zayn turned his head, waving at him.
"I guess I should be going. Have fun on your date, Belle." he hugged me and shook Harry's hand, then walked out the door. Harry came over to me and sat.
"Hey." he smiled. I looked into his eyes, they were gleaming.
"Hey."
"I'm going to get some coffee." he said, getting up, walking up to the counter.
I nodded and sat silently, until he came and sat back down, two muffins and a coffee in his hands.
"I got you a muffin." he smiled.
"Thank you, Harry." he nodded while sipping his coffee.
"I am so anxious to know what you have planned." I chuckled.
"I have a surprise planned, so I'm not telling you. Just wear something nice and I will pick you up at 7."
"Okay."
We talked for a while, I told him that I don't know what to say to Aunt Victoria, but I'll figure it out. I left the coffee shop and headed home, running up to my room, rummaging through my closet for something nice.
I did not find anything nice, so I headed down the hallway, knocking on Danielle's door. She opened the door and smiled, "Hey, Belle."
"You were gonna dress me up, right?" I smiled.
She grinned, "Let's go."
She found a nice black button-down top in her closet for me to wear, because we share clothes sometimes. I found a pair of teal colored jeans, setting them on my bed.
"Okay, so I'm going to put your hair into a messy bun, because your hair down won't look nice with this outfit." She said.
"But my hair is too silky, it will fall apart in a minute."
"Honey, leave that to me. Just sit back and watch."
She did an outstanding job with the hair and makeup. She did the black smokey-eye, some winged eyeliner, mascara, and pink lips. She said nude lips would bring the eyes out more, but I did not like the way it looked, so I said pink would be better.
I changed into the clothes I picked out earlier, but I still had one hour until Harry would be here.
"Dani, what will we say to Aunt Victoria?"
"Hey, I'm going out to a party later on tonight, but we can pretend you are coming with."
"But your not ready."
"It will literally take me twenty minutes, I'll be back.
I sat on my bed, waiting, and exactly twenty minutes later, Dani came into the room with a mid-thigh golden dress that matched her skin, and her curly hair was down, and I could see some golden and black eyeshadow around her eyes. She was holding two pairs of heels.
"How do I look?"
"Dani, you look so much better than me."
"No babe, you look hot. I wore all of this to impress Liam, he is gonna be there."
"Dani, Sophia might be there."
"Who gives a shit? I can always try." She said, handing me a pair of black heels.
I chuckled, "Okay."
The remaining time flew fast, and I heard Harry honk. My heart started beating fast. Dani and I ran downstairs, before he would knock, because if he did, I would be dead.
"Where are you two headed?" Aunt Victoria asked, wearing her apron. She was actually making something, surprisingly.
"That party I told you about, I'm just taking her with me." Dani said.
"Okay, tell your friend to stop honking, Allie is sleeping upstairs."
"Okay." Dani said, rolling her eyes. We walked out the door, and I spotted Harry, leaning on his white Mercedes.
"Have fun." Dani said, heading towards her car.
I walked up to Harry. He wore a black button down as well and some black jeans and black boots. His hair was styled up.
He looked so good.
"Ready?" He asked.
"Ready."
