"You're number one on the leaderboards. Even in America! You're really amazing, Alatus." The woman talking let out a giggle at the name." Keep going, We're all counting on you to do your best." The Teenager lowered his head, golden eyes staring at the cold wooden floor.

""I will, Thank you Mom." He then continued to stay silent as the woman set a hand on his shoulder.

"Of course, I'll support you as long as you keep being number one." 'Alatus' stood up, the woman retracting her hand. The boy turned away, heading towards the staircase to the right of the small sized couch he was sitting on." Xiao! Remember, if you ignore the song you're writing and get on Twitch or something, your career will end! And we'll have nothing!" Her mood had taken a whole 360, and was now yelling at her son to continue writing the current song he was in charge of making for his next comeback.

"I'll work on the song." He said plainly, continuing towards the wood staircase to head to his room. "Don't worry." The woman sighed, relieved that her son was going to do his job. She had quit her job as a bank accountant once her son Xiao, better known as Alatus, started earning enough money from being an idol to be able to keep them both stable financially. She turned around, heading towards the kitchen in her house to make some sort of food for herself.

"Let me know when you've finished. I love you sweetie." All she heard as a reply was a door shutting upstairs.

"Yo, Xiao, When's Barbatos' next stream?" Xiao raised the phone to his ear as he sat down in his chair in front of his computer.

"I'm not sure, I thought his Twitter post said 8 tonight." He sighed, clicking his mouse profusely to wake the computer screen.

"You don't know? You're like Barbatos' biggest fan! " The girl emphasised the words 'biggest fan'. The boy rolled his eyes, typing his password in with one hand, the other still holding his phone to his ear.

"Hu Tao, aren't you like Yenfei's biggest fan?"

"Firstly, it's YANFEI!" She yelled through the phone, Xiao moving it away from his ear for a second. "And second, she's not a famous streamer like Barbatos." Xiao stayed quiet, ignoring his friend. He logged into his computer and immediately typed in 'Twitch.tv/Barbatos' and it went straight to the boys account. He wasn't live, but it was again only 7:20." Hey Xiao," Hu tao said, the mischievous smile practically visible by the way she was speaking.

"What is this this time?" Xiao asked plainly, honestly not in the mood for the girls games and tricks. (When is he ever?) The girl giggled before continuing.

"I think you and Barbatos should try and cha-"

"Hu tao, no. He's a streamer and I'm an idol. Why would I get personal with him? I just watch him for fun." Hu Tao groaned, annoyed that her idea wasn't accepted right off the bat.

"But dude, you watch his streams more than anyone I've seen! And you've donated over 50,000 Mora to him in this last month!" She yelled her entire sentence loudly, making Xiao irritated.

"Hu Tao! Give it up, I'm not going to do-" There came a sudden ding from Xiao's computer, which could be heard from both ends of the phone. Xiao stayed quiet for a moment, but quickly finishing. "Anything with the streamer." He finished, switching to the tab which the notification came from, Twitter.

"What was that ding for? Barbatos texting?" She giggled, cashing Xiao to roll his eyes at the others idiocy.

"Nope. Close, his stream is now starting at 8:30." He paused for a moment, letting her have time to let out a more disappointed hum. "I need to go finish something though, I'll call you later."

She muttered a quick sure, see ya, before he hung up the phone. He let himself sigh deeply before looking to the right of his desk where the stack of papers where, even more folded or crumpled on his wood flooring. He leaned his head on his head in which was leaning on his desk. He couldn't help but close his eyes slowly, just now realizing how tired he was from his earlier activities today.

He felt as if he were being pulled down into the realm of deep sleep before a short yet sharp ding made him shoot his head up, now fully awake for anything. He looked at the screen, it somehow messing with his vision as the brightness was near 100.

Xiao took a moment to re read the notification again. He saw at the top of his DM's list was Barbatos himself. Barbatos. Barbatos? Xiao couldn't help but let himself laugh. "What's the luck Barbatos would message me?" He stopped laughing, in return he actually focused on what he was going to do. His cheeks were tinted a pink color, not normal for the cold, never changing face. He slapped both hand on the side of his head, deciding 'how bad could it be?' And opening the message.
