Sadly, this is not an actual chapter! Though, that will be coming soon enough. As I said in announcements, I'd be doing a reflection for the year when it comes to this book in particular- LOVE MAZE, my dearest xiaoven. Even though my Genshin phase has passed and I don't often play, I still enjoy this ship a lot. Though I've experienced many issues and hard comings through this book. (─‿─)
The first thing I noticed about 2 chapters in: was I had no idea where this book was going. Absolutely NO CLUE. I was pretty much writing aimlessly because I had just finished choosing you and I was too excited to start a new book. Even when I first started the book I knew it was going to be possibly longer than choosing you (which is about 36,000 words about? It would have been longer if I didn't abruptly end it), so I knew it was book that needed a good amount of dedication to finish correctly. Even I don't know if it actually will get finished. At least I have a sort of solid plan for it...? ( 〃▽〃) ~~
Another issue was that I was switching what I enjoyed writing. At the time this was created, I was on the verge of switching my interests from Genshin to other things. I know most everyone here knows me as a Xiaoven writer, and I think that may always be the case. Though, I'm pretty sure I will not be writing Xiaoven on this account again. It's personal preference, and since I don't play Genshin as often anymore- the ship does not appeal to me. In return, making this story ten times harder to write than it was before. I know many people will be disappointed by this statement, and some might even unfollow me but it's the truth, and I don't want people waiting for a new Xiaoven book that will never come out. I do not have a single draft for Xiaoven in the entire thirty six. Sadly, phases are only temporary. ┐( -"-)┌
I will though finish this book because it's already posted with 5,500 people taking interest in it, one way or another. It will most likely not end discontinued. I like this book! A lot. Just I personally think it's boring and the concept is overused. (What can you do ʅ(ツ)ʃ) Despite these past 2 weeks being winter break it's been obvious I've done AHEM- no writing. These break I've noticed are the times other authors use to update, while I feel it's my break time. I work better during the school week, which is why there's rarely updates on weekends or my days off. I actually find it pretty amusing. (⌐▀͡ ̯ʖ▀)
Either way, updating or not, I always enjoy seeing people enjoying my story from 2 years ago now, or this one. It's pretty cool to think people enjoy my stuff enough to comment for vote on it. It's also cool to see all the different countries people are from that are reading my stories! Here's some countries with the highest percentage:
