chapter- 2

"Pari..meri gudiya...dhoodh peele bachcha...aisa nahi karte...."...

Sana heard the loud cries of Pari...from the kitchen...

Her mom was trying hard to feed Pari...but she was crying....pushing the bottle...

Sana wiped her tears ...and tried to look normal..and went near her mom..

Sana- Mummy...kya hua?

Mom- Sana...ye pakdo...

She handed the bottle to her...trying to calm down Pari...

She was crying so loudly...her button nose became red...

Sana couldn't see that little munchkin's pain...

Sana- Mummy ye itna kyun roh rahi hai...

Mom- pata nahi Sana...Pari...meri gudiya...meri rani...

She was trying to calm down the shrieking Pari...

"Pari...".

They heard a voice from behind...

Sid was standing infront of the kitchen...

Sid- Chachi...

He walked to her and took Pari from Sana's mom...

And took the bottle from Sana's hands without even looking at her...

He was fully concentrated on his Baby...

Sid- Pari...meri Jaan...rote nahi bacha..meri jaan...

He cooed...and cradled the baby in his arms...

She was calmed after a while....and rested her head on his shoulder...

Sid- ab dhoodh piyegi meri jaan...ye lo...

He smiled widely...looking at his little angel...

She started to smile and make noises...

Pari- uhh...uh ..uh....p..pa...uhh...

She made noises excitedly....

And smiled with her toothless mouth...

Sid started to feed her....

She started to drink...it....

Sid sat on the couch...feeding Pari...

Sana stood rooted and was watching everything with a surprise and tears...

Sana's mom also had tears...

Mom- beta....maine koshish ki thi...

Sid- koi baat nahi chachi...nayi jaga mein naye logon se mil rahi hai na..isliye roh rahi hogi ...

He said calmly....

Mom- so gayi..

She smiled looking at her...

She slept in his arms..after drinking the milk...

Sid- main isko room mein le jata hun...

Mom nodded..and entered the kitchen...

Sana looked his retreating figure...

Sana followed her mom...

Mom- kitna badal gaya na Sid....

She smiled...

Sana looked her mom...and lost into thoughts...

Sid wasn't like this before...she remembered how his mom used to complain about his laziness in doing chores..him taking care of a baby..was so surprising...
