In the middle of the night, while it was raining hard, a young woman was running with her four-year-old son.

"Mommy?" The little boy asked not sure what they were running from.

"Sammy baby just don't look at it okay," Mary said to her son. She had thought that her shady past was behind her but it seemed after these years it had caught up with her. A man that had broken into their house was chasing them down, he had already taken out her husband and most likely her oldest son as well. Mary wasn't going to let him take Sam away too.

"Mommy!" Sam cried again. He didn't like this and he was scared now, why was the bad man chasing them? And where was his brother? Sam really wanted to know. Mary ran faster and came across the house where her parents lived. She placed her four-year-old son and knocked on the door.

"Sammy these people are going to take care of you okay," Mary told him. "You need to find your brother, he has the other half of the locket," she continued. "Can you do that for Mommy?" She asked. He nodded even though he had no clue what she was talking about, he didn't have time to ask questions. Since the man had caught up with them, he was dressed in all black and had a funny voice.

"You know that wasn't very smart darling," he said, pulling out a gun. Mary told him to screw off and took off running leading him away from her son, who the man failed to notice. Sam wished that he could go and save his mother but his grandparents had told him to get inside. Reluctantly, Sam had walked inside touching the locket around his neck. While he was too young to understand what was going on, he knew that he needed to find his brother when he's old enough.

"I'll find you De if it's the last thing I do," Sam said.
