taylor's pov
i open my eyes and get ready for my first day at college. I'm not gonna lie I'm kinda nervous but hopefully everything will work out. I already miss my parents but all i have to focus on now is my life.
i get up brush my teeth do my morning routine and finally get going. i walk through the halls and check my schedule while sipping coffee. suddenly i bump into someone else and drop my schedule which gets wet by coffee.
"really?" i kind of expected better day just like in movies.
I look up and see blued eyed boy who looks just as annoyed as i am.
"you got dirty my schedule" i tell him angrily.
"well you're the one who bumped me"
"oh so now you're blaming it on me"
"of course it's your fault blondie"
"hey! don't call me blondie and it's not my fault"
"it is blondie" he chuckles and gets away without a word.
"you can't call me blondie" i say to myself and go to get a new copy of my schedule.
after getting my schedule i go to library and wander around, check some books where i chose one and went to attend my first class.
my first lector was Harrison wells which i liked so for his teaching "techniques". after finishing class one boy with long, dark hair approached me who was with me on lecture.
"hey i'm cisco, cisco ramon. wanna be friends?"
"sure" i smiled "I'm taylor swift" i said and we shook hands. We went to park talking a little and getting to know each other. It was getting dark so i excused myself to go to my dorm.
turns out to be we both were in the same hall and i breathed out in relief, glad i had my friend by the door. We both said goodbyes and i entered the empty room, seems my roommate wasn't there. I studied for a while until getting ready and going to sleep. Tomorrow's going to be a long day.
Joe's pov
after incident i go to my class without a word only thinking about the blonde girl. I didn't even get to know her name but why do i need so? I probably will never meet her again plus i hate her much, she even blamed everything for me.
trying to concentrate on lecture which was pretty hard, finally my class ends and i go to cafeteria, grabbing a plate of pancakes with strawberry and some coffee when a girl approaches me.
"hey I'm emma" she smiles. She looks cute but she's not my style.
"I'm joe" i fake smile.
"can i sit here?"
"um sure" i say and she sits down in front of me. I kind of get uncomfortable with her presence and she notices it "um i can feel this is awkward but i don't wanna flirt with you or something, i just want to be friends" she says awkwardly and i shrug breathing in relief.
"okay, see you then emma" i say and leave the table after finishing food and head to the lakes where i like to just sit and think in silence.
I sit there for a while and think about that girl again. Her blue eyes and blonde, silk hair, she looked like a dream and her electric blue eyes.. you could just get lost in it and drown...
I finally go back to reality and my emotions towards her fill with hate again. She's really ignorant and thinks she's always right but besides her, i really have much to worry about.
Soon it gets dark and I get up and make my way to the dorm just to see my roommate already asleep so i decide to get in bed and get him or her know tomorrow.
Taylor's pov
I wake up early just to see a figure of boy still asleep. Not paying attention i get up and dress up for today's classes. Just as i step out of bathroom i make eye contact with a blonde guy.
"you" i say in shock as i stare at that boy who bumped me yesterday.
"you" he says is annoyance.
"so you're my roommate" i stutter still not breaking an eye contact.
"i guess so"
"but we can't be roommates there must be a mistake" i don't give up
"there's not. As much as we hate it and each other, we have to be in the same dorm" he says and goes to get ready.
I sigh, pick up my books and slam the door behind me when cisco approaches me. "aaand i guess you don't have a good roommate" he hits me playfully.
"hi and no i don't"
"and why don't you like her?" he asks
"it's actually him and he's the guy who bumped me yesterday and got dirty my schedule"
"you know what? You two will end up together" he smirks
"um excuse me?"
"you know just like in movies, enemies to loveeeers" he says in sing-song voice and wiggles his eyebrows. I giggle and hit him playfully, he's of course talking nonsense, there's no way I'm ending up with that jerk.
Me and cisco go to cafeteria amd grab some waffles with coffee, sitting down at table and chatting for a while till that blonde boy sits down near to me with annoyance. -wait, i didn't even got his name. Even so, I'm not really interested so i just get up and give cisco that look, he nods and gets up with me, walking me to my class.
"so i guess he's your roommate huh?" cisco says while we walk through halls.
"yeah, but he's such a jerk tho, he only thinks about himself and of course he's always right" i roll my eyes.
"but you only met him once, why'd you think that?"
"well in that one meeting i somehow got to know his personality"
"well i can't say that, see you around tay" he says as we reach to my class.
"see ya" i say and enter the lecture where I'm thankfully early.
I sit down and look around when i notice one girl, dressed in all pink. God, i hate pink.
Soon my lector appears and class starts but only i can think about is..
"miss swift, care enough to tell us what are you thinking about?"
"sorry ma'am" i look down in embarrassment.
"see me after class" she says and goes on.
The rest of the lecture i try and focus on lesson which i successfully do and go to miss blake as promised.
"may i know why you looked lost in my class?"
"I'm so sorry miss blake, i promise it won't happen again"
"okay taylor, just for the note I'll keep an eye on you, you're dismissed" she says and i sigh, turning back to my dorm where i meet blue pair of eyes.
Without a word i enter the dorm and collapse on the bed sinking in thoughts again. after a while i gain confidence and sit back on the bed.
"I've never got to know your name" i say trying to not sound awkward.
"I'm joe" he says.
"I'm taylor, taylor swift"
