Sho Maelstrom travels to Unova. After getting five gym badges he arrives in Mistralton city to challenge Skyla. What happens when he meets the flying type gym leader
Sho arrives in Mistralton city. He heads straight for the gym and is about to enter when a random trainer stops him. Extra:Hey you! Are you going to challenge the gym leader? Sho:Yeah why? Extra:You have to wait over there. Sho turns around and what he sees is a giant queue in front of the gym. Sho:Oh my Arceus this is a lot of trainers. Extra:Sorry man He heads towards the que when a man stops him. Man:Do you have an appointment? Sho:Appointment? Man:Yeah you have to make an appointment in advance to battle the gym leader. Here just hand me your pokedex and I can put you in the afternoon group. Sho:I have my phone would that work. Man:Yeah that is fine. Sho hands the man his phone and he scans it as a small paper comes out with the number 15. Man:Ok keep a hold of this and when your number. Sho is still confused but regardless he makes sure he keeps a hold of this card. Around that time a kid with a Pikachu comes and is told the same thing and is the given a piece of paper with 14 on it. That was when they see a plane land. They all look as a figure emerged out of the plane. When she takes off her helmet it reveals the most beautiful girl that Sho has ever seen. Her red velvet hair flowed like the wind was gracefully touching it, leaving some of the male trainers in a trace of attraction. With her beautiful blue eyes leaving a stunning impression and her gorgeous smile shining through. Sho was forced into a blush as the pilot looks to her challengers and when her sapphire eyes gaze onto Sho she turns a shade of red as red as her hair.

Sho:Woah. Skyla:Hi I'm skyla but everyone calls me high flying girl and you should too. Sho(under breathe) :She is so pretty. Skyla does hear this but she doesn't say anything. Skyla:So this is the morning group? Extras:Yaha Ash:Is she really going to fight them all? Skyla:Alright lead for take off. First off you will be using 3 pokemon. Come fly to me my winged beauties. Presenting the sweethearts of skies Swoobat. Next up is the shoot star Unfezant. And last but not lease the whitest of grace Swanna. Skyla sends out all of her pokemon as Sho gets his phone on the pokedex app and scans her team. Sho's phone:Swoobat the Courting Pokémon. A psychic and flying type and the evolved form of Woobat. The auspicious shape of this Pokémon's nose apparently led some regions to consider Swoobat a symbol of good luck. Unfezant the proud pokemon. A flying and normal type and the evolved form of Tranquil and final evolved form of Pidove. Unfezant are exceptional fliers. The females are known for their stamina, while the males outclass them in terms of speed. Swanna the white Bird pokemon. A water and flying type and the evolved form of Ducklett. Despite their elegant appearance, they can flap their wings strongly and fly for thousands of miles. The random trainer who told Sho to head to queue headed towards Skyla and sends out a Zebstrika, Boldore and Emolga. Skyla:Now ready fliers we're ready for the air battle. Sho:What in the name of distortion world is an air battle? The flying type gym leader closes her eyes and she begins to imagine a battle in her mind. She sees the emolga OHKO(One Hit KnockOut) her Swoobat with a thunder shock. The Boldore then OHKO's her male Unfezant with a stone Edge and then the Zebstrika OHKO's her Swanna with a Thunderbolt. Skyla:Wow I really thought that I would beat you. You win. Sho/Ash:That's a really battle? Skyla then presents the challenger with a jet badge. She then takes on a series of air battles. This enrages a certain green boy who stomped towards Skyla along with Ash.
Skyla:Sorry but I gotta go. Later fliers. She hops onto her plane as she stares at Sho and cutely winks at him. The job to native blushes at the flying type gym leader flies away.
Skip to the afternoon The green boy known as Cilan challenges Skyla to a battle.
Ash:Skyla I challenge you to a gym battle! Skyla looks to the crowd and see that Sho was watching. She blushes but then gets an idea. Skyla:I will have a gym battle. But only with him. She points into the crowd as she points towards Sho who has Paimo on his shoulder as the crowd stare daggers at him. Sho:Me? Skyla:Yeah. Battle me and if you win I will stop air battles. Sho:Sure but don't think I will go easy on your beautiful. He realized what he said and covered his mouth as both him and Skyla are blushing madly. They head onto the gym battlefield. Skyla:Just for fun send out your pokemon. Sho sends out his chosen pokemon. Paimo his aipom, Eclipse his Unbreon and Mystic his Dragonite. Skyla:Well I would say that it would a win for me because 2 of your pokemon can't match mine in the air but let's battle. Go Swoobat! Sho:Let's go Eclipse! They both send out their pokemon. Skyla:Use supersonic! Swoobat sends a high non damaging frequency towards Eclipse. Sho:Use dark pulse! Eclipse breaks through the sound based attack and blasts Swoobat away. Sho:Use iron tail! Eclipse leaped towards Swoobat and with no defense from Skyla Swoobat is smashed into the ground. Skyla:Use air cutter! Swoobat sends bladed wind strikes that slash at Eclipse. Sho:Moonlight. Eclipse glows bright as the damage he took is recovered instantly. Skyla:Woah that was really cool. Sho:Use dark pulse! Eclipse sends a heavy wave dark pulse attacks that smash into the psychic type and knocks her out. Miles:Swoobat is unable to battle. Skills please send out your next pokemon. Skyla:Unfezant soar high. Sho:Eclipse return. Paimo let's go. Skyla send out her proud pokemon as Sho sends in his long tail pokemon. Skyla:Use aerial ace! Sho:Use aerial ace! The two normal types glide across towards each other as the two attacks collide. Sho:Use Thunderbolt! Paimo begins to emit sparks of electrical energy that is very strong. The attack shocks Unfezant and blows him away. Sho:Use swift! Paimo sends rushing stars that clash with the normal type multiple times. Taking him out. Miles. Unfezant is unable to battle. Skyla send out your last pokemon. Skyla:How am I losing this badly? Swanna let's go! She sendd out her ace as Sho returned his partner. Sho:Mystic stand by for battle. He sends out his pseudo-legendary pokemon as the battle begins. Skyla:Use brave bird Swanna is covered by powerful energy as she rushes towards Mystic. Sho:Use fly! Mystic flies high away from the flying swan. Skyla:Use bubble beam! The water type sends a stream of bubbles that rush towards the dragon. Sho:Smash through! Mystic bashed through the bubbles and collides with the water type as she is send flying to the ground. Sho:End this with an outrage! Mystic rushes to Swanna and begins to violently assault the water and flying type pokemon with ferocious blows which injury her alot and sends her crashing to the ground unconscious. Miles:Swanna is unable to battle which means Sho is the winner. Skyla returns her pokemon and she runs to Sho who meets her in the middle. Skyla:Your pokemon and you are really strong. Here I present you with the jet badge. She hands him a badge and he celebrated with the pokemon he used in the battle. Skyla:After this I will not do any air battles. Sho smiles which was cute in the gym leaders eyes and she comes closer to her and the challenger turns red. Skyla:Please see me in 1 hour. Sho:O-ok. Skyla:Thanks. She smiles as she quickly kisses him on the cheek and runs off. What did she want to talk to Sho about.
