*Pilot's POV*
We were all tired and hyped from this evening. Seal wouldn't shut up over his win over me. As we walked through the small city, we picked out scraps from the garbages on the corners.
Mock got a good big foam box of cold frenchfries and a half eaten hamburger. Mock instantly shoved the hamburger in his mouth as the rest of the crew picked out frenchfries.
We made it to our dangerous home building; a rusty, broken down abandoned apartment building.
So we weren't completely homeless. We all settled on the floor as we called our names out, a tradition we had in our little gang.
"Mock," Mock started.
"Seal."
"Riddick."
"Glory."
"Cascade."
We sat in the dark silence before I quietly said, "Pilot." That was our gang. Our family. The only thing that could be seen in the darkness was Riddick's cigarette embers.
It was a good day today. 2 french fries in my stomach and I was happy.
Glory was next to me. She was nicknamed Glory because once Mock saw her he instantly fell in love. Mock and Glory are a thing now.
You are accepted into the gang when you swap your real name for a name that Mock gives you.
Mock was given the name Mock because the nicknames he gave weren't real names, they were mock names. Catch my drift?
Seal was named Seal because he is a mixture between muscle, fat and skin. He isn't necessarily skinny, or fat, or muscular.
Cascade was named because of his bright teal blue eyes.
And Riddick was named Riddick because he just causes so much trouble and screws everyone over.
As for me, Pilot, Mock has never told me why he named me Pilot.

*3 hours before*
"Guys do you want to go to go the beach?" Glory asked all of us.
"Wrestling match!" Riddick yelled.
"And a sorta shower!" I chimed in, throwing my fist up in victory. A roar of cheering was lifted up and we started on our way to the beach.
Once we made it to the beach, Riddick and I made the circle for wrestling as the rest stripped and swam.
"You. Me. First?" Riddick ask.
"Haha, very funny. No," I laughed.
"Me versus you," Cascade said throwing himself against Riddick.
"Bring it on jackass." Cascade rolled themselves into the circle as they wrestled to pin each other's shoulders down. 10 minutes later, Riddick won, going against Mock.
Mock lost against Riddick. Then Glory and I wrestled for a quick moment before I easily pinned her. Lastly I went Riddick and Seal battled, Seal winning, then I was pushed into wrestling him.
We wrestled, and I actually tried to beat him, but my arm slipped and Seal pinned me down.
He was ontop of me, pinning my shoulders down as I was sprawled out in the angel position.
He laughed as his curls tickled his face. He let saliva dangle out of his mouth, a long string; and just as gravity takes full force, he slurps it back into his mouth.
Riddick pushed Seal off of me, picking him up and lifting up one arm. "And Seal is the new champion."
"Haha, hear that Pilot?" He taunted. He poked my side and as I went to slap his hand, he playfully slapped my cheek.
"You basically didn't win everything because the only person I beat was Glory," I spat back at him.
"Whatever peasant," he scoffed.
The crew started to run towards the water. "Do you realize we're all peasants?" I hit him in the breastbone before running into the water.
I notice a group of guys staring at us as we ran into the water and cleaned ourselves up.
I washed my face and body and once we got out, I made contact with the youngest boy in the group.
He was cute, dark brown hair that sweeped his eyebrows. His eyes were an unatural blue that were brighter than the ocean in carribean. Not that I exactly knew what the water looked like, but I heard it was clear.
We ran back to the beach to gather our belongings before running off back to the house. We were all hyped and tired from that evening.

*The Next Morning*
"Suggestions on what to do?" Cascade asked us. We were all on the floor of the 12th floor and our bodies made a star, our heads facing inward.
"Beach?"
"Allies?"
"Skate Park?" Riddick suggested. There was silence.
"We dont have skateboards," Cascade told him. He smacked him across the head, "sometimes you can be a real idiot."
"Or we could just walk around. Im starving," I added in.
"When are we not?" Glory told me.
"Well thats the best suggestion we have right now, all in favor?" Mock said.
We all lazily rose our hands. "So i guess we're walking."
We started walking in silence throughout the city. "This is just boring," Seal said.
"If you quit making it boring maybe it would be funner," Riddick told him.
"Both of you shut up," Mock snapped.
"But seriously what are we doing?" I asked. No one answered. Thats okay, thats how I usually am. I say something, someone says it a little louder and everyone laughs and hears it.
A police car started to slow down and pulled up to the sidewalk next to us.
"What can we help you with, Sir?" Cascade asked. He straighted his posture. He looked the oldest out of all of us.
"You kids headed anywhere?" The officer asked. We exchanged some looks.
"Just to the beach, sir," Mock quickly lied.
"Sorry to break it to you, but the beach is that way." He pointed to the opposite direction we were walking in.
"Thanks," Glory said with a small wave and a smile. Once he passed she muttered, "I didnt even have to show him my boobs."
"Good thing he didnt spot me," Riddick muttered to himself.
"Idiot," Seal muttered back to him.
