*One month later*

*Harry's POV*

I go to visit her every day for the next month. Hoping she will magically recover, or wake up. I write a note to her, a stack of them pile up next to her bedside. I leave her a little love note, along with a note about everything that happened that day, that I wish she were there for. She's still in a coma. I can't take it any longer.

"What do you mean she hasn't woken up yet?" I yell into the phone. I leave for the tour tomorrow, and I only have one option. To go without her. I had already arranged for her to come with us this entire tour. She was so happy, and excited. She thought I was gonna leave her behind... And now I'm forced to. I feel anger boiling in my blood. It's been a month now, why won't she return to me? I begin to sob, and hang up the phone.

Liam is sitting with me patting my back, "Dude, I promise. She will be alright. Just give it some time." The cliché advice makes me even more sick. Of course she's going to be alright- she's alive and breathing. She's just not--- here mentally. Only physically. I'm just worried that one day soon she won't be. Ugh I can't let myself think of that. I feel pukey as I come to reality with her condition.

*Erica's POV*

I feel like I've been trapped in this nightmare for quite awhile now. Although wherever I am- time isn't something that's able to be kept track of. However long it's been- I know it's been long. Every time I think I'm close to getting out of this mind maze, I come to realize just how wrong I am. I'm frequently confronted by my fears. All of which take shape as a demon that I must conquer. I know this is not human reality, which scares me more than words can explain.

A small, pesky demon approaches me, on it's chest is engraved "Harry". It's black, soulless eyes take my attention. It twirls my hair with its longer pointy nails, which are darker than night. "Do you really think he loves you?" The demon pouts, pretending to show pity. It's just a mind game. This isn't real. This isn't real. I'm just asleep. This is just a nightmare. I repeat to myself, over and over. I squeeze my eyes shut, waiting for "it" to disappear.

"He doesn't really love you, Erica." The slimy, baby voice makes the hairs stand up on my back.

"Y-yes he does!!!" I stutter back, trying to give my words as much meaning as possible.

"I don't think love is cheating. I don't think love is going on tour with out you. Love isn't secrets and hurting." The demon taunts me, breathing coldly against my neck.

"He's not going on the tour without me! The tours a month from now! I'm going! He loves me!" The demon can smell my fear, and lowers it's hand down to my neck, putting me in a chokehold.

"You don't even believe what you're saying. You're doubting it too. Erica, it's been a month. I know you can't keep track of time here-- but I can." It smiled, revealing layers or triangular sharp teeth. "You're only a soul now, and I want your body."

This was a horror unlike anything I've ever faced before.

"You can't have it!" I rebel, forcing me to believe everything I say. It forces it's teeth into my skin, I cry out. A fiery pain shoots through my whole body.

*Harry's POV*

I'm sitting against Erica's bed when her heart monitor start beeping off the hook "NURSE! NURSE!" I scream running to get someone to help. Three nurses and doctors run into the room to see what's going on.

"She's fighting for her life right now-- and she's losing the battle!" The doctor yells out out the nurses.

"She's convulsing!!" A nurse scrambles to the electronic shock machine. "We're going to have to shock her!" The nurse shocks her, sending an electric pulse through her whole body.

*Erica's POV*

All the darkness turns electric blue, and everything becomes staticky. I feel as if I've just been electrocuted. The demon is repelled off me, flying back twenty feet. "He doesn't love you. He'll never truly love you. No one can save you. Not even yourself" it grins, revealing it's pointy, bloodstained teeth. The blood on them was undoubtedly mine. Another electric blue wave takes me over. I feel the darkness and the haze begin to fade.

*Harry's POV*

Erica starts bleeding from her neck. The nurses freak out and start bandaging her.

"How is this even possible!?" She cries out looking to the doctor for some sort of information to help her cope.

"I don't know that it is. Whatever this is, this isn't human at all." The doctor shifts his glasses to the top of his nose, eyeing the heart monitor. "All we can do is wait to see if she can make it through."

Her heartbeat slows to a normal rate; her breathing softens. I hear her gasp out for air, so I run to her bed side. "Erica!?" I yell out to her, lightly shaking her.

*Erica's POV*

I hear him yelling my name. "Harry?" I whisper, my mouth drier than a desert. The darkness and haze lift up from my eyesight. I rub my eyes, my vision begging to focus. "Harry," I smile, my eyes squinted, barely open, "Do you really love me?" I asked, with an unsure smile.
