(Y/N) somehow ended up at a near gestation by her neighborhood. She didn't even get to say anything to anyone as she passed out from exhaustion as soon as she got inside. Luckily it was kind of empty and the poor workers that had the nightshift that day panicked and called the police. The next time (Y/N) woke up she was in a hospital, the uncomfortable needles that were attached to her and a IV made her flinch a bit. She looked around trying to take in her surroundings but the aching headache made it harder for her to think. Her throat was painfully dry and her whole body ached. She noticed a glass of water on a stand that was next to her but as she went to reach for it a nurse came in making her jump. The nurse had straight brown hair styled in a ponytail. She looked tired but still carried a soft smile on her face. The nurse looked at the wires and machines hooked up to (Y/N) before letting a out a sigh and finally speaking. "I'm glad you're awake (Y/N), thankfully you weren't out for long and you didn't have any huge injuries but the blow you took to your head isn't fully healed and might have caused some internal problems. But luckily you didn't get a concussion and so far it doesn't look too bad. We will have to run some more test before you're let go. You're parents are outside so ill talk to them and then let them come see you if you'd like." The nurse spoke in a soft tone. Her voice was quiet and soothing. The girl only nodded and the nurse let out a hum before walking out.

(Y/N) finally took the glass of water and gulped it down, her throat thanking her as the water ran down. A few minutes later she heard the door open. Her parents walked in having a worried expression on their face. Her mother stood there in silence as her father spoke about how sorry they were that they weren't there to save her. Her mother looked like she had a millions things to say but only stood there staring at her with her arms around herself. (Y/N) looked down at her hands before taking a deep breath and speaking. "It's okay. Its not you're guys fault that that happened I should've been more careful but I'm fine. I'm alive and I guess that's all that matters." Her parents stood there in silence before her mother finally broke it. "(Y/N) sweetie, what happened?" The girl sat there quietly not quite sure what to say. If she was being honest she wasn't even sure what happened. The girl finally looked up and only shrugged, "I'm....I'm sorry" (Y/N) said quietly. Her voice was quiet and timid. She wasn't sure what she was sorry for. Maybe for causing all of this and making her parents worry or maybe it was because she couldn't answer them. She just knew that she was sorry. Her mother walked over to her and softly took her hand in hers. The girl filched at tis making her parents frown and (Y/N) feeling the guilt come up tried to her best ability to give them a smile. Her mother sighed at this before speaking up, "We got a call from your older brother that night. He was panicking saying that there was blood in the kitchen and that it was a mess. Not only that but that you were no where to be seen and you're phone was still in your room... we're sorry (Y/N). We shouldn't have left you home alone."

(Y/N only shook her head and smiled at them. She knew they were worried about her but she didn't like that. She was fine, and while she was scared she wasn't a kid anymore. She shouldn't be making them worry like this. Before anyone could say anything else a doctor knocked at the door before entering. He looked to be in his early 30's and smiled at them. "Sorry to interrupt you guys. I'm Dr. Edward and I'm in charge of (Y/N). The police are waiting outside to question (Y/N) here. Besides that we'll have to run a couple more test on her before she can leave. Its nothing to worry about we just want to make sure she's completely fine so she won't have to return in the future." His voice was loud and clear. He looked at (Y/N) giving her a smile that for some reason made her uncomfortable. Her parents only nodded. Her mother let go of her hand before she walked over to her husband. They both walked out Dr.Edward walking behind them closing the door behind him.

(Y/N) retried to relax but she was still tense. Memories from that night seemed foggy. She tried hard to remember and In the end she had a clear idea of what happened but she continued to ponder about reasons. Ever since she woke up everything seemed to be louder and clearer. She didn't know why, her hearing from before was actually bad thanks to years of blasting music in her ears and an accident she had as a child that damaged her hearing. But now everything was loud and clear. Her thoughts were interrupted by three police men walking in. They all looked calm but still scared (Y/N). she had been in trouble with the cops before so to say the least she didn't really have the best experience with cops. They only asked her the questions everyone had. She tried to answer them the best she could. When they asked her if she remembered what the person looked like she froze. Of course she remembered was he looked like. It was engraved in her brain like a piece of gummy candy stuck in a tooth that just wouldn't stick off. She took a deep breath before shaking her head. "um not completely. All I really remember is that the person was a male. And that he um he had a blue mask. The mask didn't seem to have eyes. They were pitch black." It wasn't a lie. He did have a blue mask and it was all she could remember. The blue mask that terrified her that night.

One of the officers sighed before nodding. "yeah that sounds familiar... well were done asking you questions so don't worry. I know it must be hard and I'm sorry we had to ask question while you're in your condition but we advise you to stay alert. We've been getting murder cases and our suspect is very close to what you just described. thank you for you corporation but we'll keep cops around your area so you guys are safe." The cops all nodded and finally left. (Y/N) want sure why they told her that but she was for sure even more terrified then she was before. She guessed things wouldn't go back to normal for a while. She sat in silence for what seemed like forever. Millions of thoughts running through her head. She just wanted to go home. Go back to normal and have thing peaceful again. After what seemed hours of her just sitting there she heard a knock at her door. She slightly jumped. They really needed to stop doing that. She looked at the door and saw Dr. Edwards head peek in. "hey there (Y/N) sorry if I scared you. I just came bye to let you know that we'll be doing finally test tomorrow. After that you'll be discharged and be able to go home sadly if we don't find major. Visiting hours are over and you'll be staying the night here. You're parents will be coming back tomorrow. We've contacted you're school and work place and let them know what happened, besides that you should be good for the rest of the day. I know its been a long day so you can rest now. If you need anything just press the button on the controller over there. I'll leave you alone now." Before he left he gave the girl a wink and finally left closing the door behind him.

To say the least she was left kind of uncomfortable but brushed it off. She was exhausted and didn't want to think anymore. She hated that she got herself into this mess. She wasn't sure how she even got into the mess itself but it didn't matter. She sat in silence before finally decided to get comfortable and letting sleep take over her body.
