CH 3 - Date with Nya

When Y/n woke up, he felt at peace. Why? No alarm clock. No alarm clocks, no school. It was the weekend, the best part of the week.

He yawned and stretched, before looking across the room to his calender. He saw that today was his date with Nya, which is in a few hours.

So he hops out of bed and does his daily routine. Clean up, eat breakfast, exercise, and does a few chores.

After a few minutes of playing video games, he decides that now would be a good time to head over to Nya.

So he grabs his usual pair of clothes and heads out. Nya's not to focused on the clothes, only the personality and attitude.

He walks a few blocks before arriving at her house. He knocks on the door and her brother opens up.

"Yo Y/n! Whadup?" They give each other a bro hug, since their whole team are as close as siblings. "Nya's in the shower, she'll be ready soon. Let's watch some TV wil she's done."

"Alright." Y/n responds, okay with hanging out before going out.

So far, not a lot of good channels were on. Just a few kid shows, sport games, and reports of Garmadon's next attack.

"Man, there's really nothing else on?" Y/n leans on his hand. Kai shakes his head, with a bored face along with Y/n.

"Hey Y/n!" They both turn around and see Nya walking in the room while tying up her hair.

"Hey Nya, you ready to go?" He asks walking over. "You kidding? I've been waiting for these days!"

"Have fun you two!" Kai says, as he turns off the TV, most likely going to play video games instead.

With that, their date begins...

They started off by just walking around the city, enjoying the view like always, before stopping at the park.

🎶~Ooh, Ooh, Ooh, Ohh~🎶

They just watched as a family of ducks swam by, looking for fish. One of the little ones started to wander off. It kept getting farther away from its family, before swimming in tall grass.

🎶~Ayy, Ayy~🎶

Nya decided to help it out. They both looked left and right before nodding to each other.

🎶~Ooh, Ooh, Ooh, Ohh~🎶

She moved her arms as the water started pulling the little duckling back towards its parents. It's welcomed back with open arms. Or wings.

The couple looked to each other, satisfied. They high-fived before getting up and walk away.

🎶~Needless to say, I keep in check,
She was all bad-bad, nevertheless~🎶

They both were walking down the sidewalk, to a small restaurant to eat. Walking in, they found a table for them to sit down at. They opened up the menus and looked through the options.

🎶~Callin' it quits now, baby, I'm a wreck,
Crash at my place, baby, you're a wreck~🎶

After ordering their meals, they started talking about the events of the week. How excited they were ready for the 2 week break, plans for then, and how training is going for their Ninja work.
