Chapter 3 - Welcome to Azur Lane 1

(Note from author: Sorry for long inactive due to my final project in university so let's get start shall we?)

[1 day later at Azur Lane Naval Base]
[3rd person POV]

After long rest Boomerang find herself in infirmary room with another 3 shipgirls.

???: "Hey, You're finally awake. We already treat your wound at your leg and prepare underarm walking stick for you unknown girl"

Boom: "Thank you.....sisters?"

Vestal: "Oh I forget to introduce myself. My name is Vestal a repair ship in Eagle Union and I am the one in charge of maintenance. So what is your name girl?"

Boomerang: "My name is Boomerang a ASW destroyer in Pixian Navy but I think you and everyone here never heard about this right?"

Vestal: "Yeah, I never heard about Pixian Navy before but can you tell me what happen before Hornet's group found you?"

Boomerang: "Last thing I remember is I try to lure enemy submarine away from my teammate even I can lure them away, one of them manage to hit me with torpedo and disable me but before I sinking tornado form near me and suck me up after that I don't know what happen until I found myself in the middle of ocean"

Hornet: "I feel like you enter the mirror sea after got pull by tornado and appear here"

Vestal: "if this cause by mirror then I'm not shocking"

Boomerang: "I don't know what is mirror sea but do you know where my rigging is Vestal?"

Vestal: "it still on Cleveland ship but I only check damage around rigging because I don't know if your rigging is different from us, I'm so sorry"

Boomerang: "it's ok Vestal"

Hornet: "By the way are you ready to meet other? because everyone want to know about you right now....oh!! I forget to introduce my name too, my name is Hornet Yorktown-class aircraft carrier nice to meet you"

Boomerang: "nice to meet you too Hornet"

After that Boom and Hornet leave the room and Vestal back to take care another shipgirl in the room.

???: "That girl, she kinda interesting right?"

Vestal: "Yeah, but most of destroyer equip the ASW weapon I wonder why she call herself ASW destroyer don't you think so Yorktown?"

Yorktown: *giggle* "We'll see about that soon Vestal"

[Azur Lane Commander room]

Prince of Wales, Belfast, Arizona, Hood, Helena, Enterprise, Cleveland,  Queen Elizabeth and Unicorn waiting for Hornet and Boom

*Door open sound*

Hornet: "sorry for late meeting she still need time to adjust herself with walking stick" she coming alongside Boom to support her to the chair.

Prince of Wales: "it's ok, then let's start this meeting. first of all we know that Sakura Empire and Ironblood form their own faction call Red Axis along with many minor nation in Europe and declare war on us, second is about you" she point at Boomerang

Prince of Wales: "Since we don't know about you can you introduce yourself?"

Boomerang: "Sure, my name is Boomerang a ASW destroyer in Pixian Navy nice to meet you and thank you for taking care of me" she bow her head

Prince of Wales: "ASW destroyer? most of destroyer usually have ASW equipment what make ASW destroyer so special than regular destroyer?"

Boomerang: "because I have the most and latest equipment in ASW warfare than other class in my navy" 
(Author: I know it's outdate by Earth's standard but in her universe it's a state of art weapon of ASW warfare)

Prince of Wales: "I see, I want to see your equipment capability but until that we need you to fully heal. Right now you don't need to do anything just rest and explore this base and Arizona will take care of you until you can walk normally again ok?"

Boomerang: "understood miss?"

Prince of Wales: "Prince of Wales, you can call me Wales and welcome to Azur Lane"

Queen Elizabeth: "Hey I have some question about you Boomerang, can you tell us about your anti-ship and anti-air capability?"

Boomerang: "about my anti-ship weapon I have 127mm. cannon and 4 Harpoon missile but in term of anti-air I only have Phalanx CIWS or I can use my 127mm to fire a high explosive variable time fuze proximity shell"

Hornet: "CIWS? you mean that gatling gun with white pod on your hand When you fought back then, right?"

Boomerang: "That's right Hornet that thing can intercept any threat such as aircraft, helicopter, missile, bomb even battleship shell"

Enterprise: "and what is helicopter? an type of aircraft?"

Boomerang: "you can call that, but different between normal aircraft and helicopter is helicopter can take off and landing vertical by using rotor on top and rotor at tail to control the direction and most importance it use mostly for support role such as SAR, logistics, medical transport and ASW, and I can carry 2 helicopter too. In case you don't understand, for short it just like hydroplane that on cruiser or battleship but more versatile"

Enterprise: "A destroyer that can carry aircraft, that's new to me" she and other amaze when Boom tell she can carry not one but two aircraft call helicopter.

Prince of Wales: "thank for sharing your information, you can go now, me and other will discuss about strategy"

Boomerang: "ok I won't disturb your time anymore, see you soon everyone" she bow her head before stand up and leave the room with Arizona.
