"Kai hyung!!"

Jimin's breath was caught up in his throat. Seeing the lovely hyung of his own on the receiving end of the injustice he was going to do made him breathe heavily. His emotions were all over the place.

So far, everything was good, best even. Even though they were just wanderers and survived by stealing, things weren't any close to bad. He was happy. Because he had two persons he called family now. His hyungs. Kai hyung who loved him unconditionally and stood up with him even though he was just a stranger to them. On the other hand, his Yugyeom hyung. Even though he had bitter mouth, Jimin knew better. His hyung was bad at feelings. But he still protected Jimin from the outside world without even letting it show on his face. He always prayed for things to stay this way until a long time.

Jimin's lips wobbled as he met eyes with Kai. Kai was equally stunned seeing Jimin with the two Royal Inspectors he despised. He just couldn't understand what Jimin was doing with those bastards.

"My King, here I present the eye witness of Courtier Chan's murder. This boy here had witnessed this man standing here leaving Courtier Chan's mansion at the early dawn. Exactly after the time of murder of Courtier Chan.", Jungkook stated with firm voice while glancing at Jimin and Kai respectively who had their gazes fixed at each other with an unknown emotion.

The king eyed Jimin for the confirmation but rather than Jimin's confirmation he had his nasty gaze fixed on Jimin's slim frame. His intentions were clear but didn't give any damn. Because yeah, the king was known for his lecherous nature among the citizens. He had no shame when it came to devouring the exquisite beauties, no matter what their gender or age was.

Jimin was trapped.

He knew if he refuses to statement, these two person who once held his heart will turn him in as the murderer. And then he will be left at the King's mercy making the further things even more clear what would happen next. But if he agrees to it, then he will be betraying the only person who actually had given him life...

"Is this true boy?", The king's gruff voice boomed through the court hall and everyone straighten their backs.

Jimin looked at his Kai hyung who had look of disbelief and it clenched Jimin's heart. He felt that pain once again. The pain he would feel in his chest like his heart was becoming heavy whenever his loved one will look at him like that.

He knew that he had lost Kai's trust.

But Kai wasn't giving him the look disbelief because Jimin had lost his faith. No. Not at all. He knew his Minnie well enough not to trust those bland words spoke by some poor excuse of people who wanted the so called justice.

He was feeling the anger because he knew that those two inspectors must have threatened him to do this. His hands were itching to get on them and thrash them to death one by one.

Kai knew them ever since they were just in Patrol team of the town. Once they had caught him stealing some food but they turned him in blame of stealing fortune worth jewellery. And that made them promote to the position of "Royal Inspectors". He knew this corrupt duo well. He snarled at them before receiving a glare daggering on him by Taehyung.

He wanted to sooth Jimin. Hold him and say that it was alright and his hyung was here to protect him. He knew the boy was scared to death just by looking at his shivering form. But he knew that it wasn't possible.

Jimin looked up at the king. Lips wobbling to say something. Then once again he looked at his Kai hyung as if wanting the permission to speak. Kai's gaze softened while looking at him.

"It's not true...", Jimin spoke up.

"What did you say?", The King's eyebrow raised as he asked once again. While here Taehyung and Jungkook had there eyes slightly widened but they composed themselves quickly. Jungkook tightened his hold on Jimin's arm as a warning but Jimin winced at the grip. He glared back at Jungkook before facing the King once again.

"Whatever these liar of inspectors are saying is not true. I haven't seen anyone leaving any mansion. These two manipulators threatened me to give the statement in court so that they would gain Royalti—", Jimin screamed before he was held down on floor by a tight grip on his neck.

"I see how it is My king. This boy first claimed to witness the scene and now he's trying to defend the culprit. These both are related and as our suspect, they have carried out this crime together.", Taehyung easily stated as a pro liar while Jungkook held the struggling Jimin down. Kai grunted before pushing the guards who were holding him. And with the still chained hands, he ran towards Jimin to push that buff inspector away from his little brother. He was completely drowned and boiling in anger.

The huge commotion was caused. And loud speaking and yelling noises filled the room.

As soon as Kai reached the trio he was harshly pushed by Taehyung and guards came immediately to help him hold the savage prisoner. The king stood up from his seat.

"Arrest the both of them!!"

Jimin's struggles died down immediately as the he witnessed Kai being harshly hit on the head with a bar.

Jimin couldn't understand where they took Kai.

After the King ordered to arrest them both, Kai got hit on his head for being violent. And then four guards picked up his unconscious body and disappeared somewhere. And Jungkook and Taehyung gave him a warning glare before smirking.

Those filthy bastards.

He knew he had to do something to save Kai. But what. He has already messed up to much unknowingly. Now he have no idea what to do.

Currently he was sitting in a dark cell which had no ounce of light living the oil lamps that were lightning the dark cells' hallway dimly. Darkness wasn't something he wasn't used to. But this it felt suffocating. It felt suffocating because his hyung was trapped and maybe being punished somewhere. He doesn't no how much time had passed since he had been here.

"Come on, get up.", He was still lost in his thoughts until a guard came and silently opened the cell gate ushering Jimin out in his rough voice.

He was confused as to where he was lead to now.

And all the questions came to an halt when he was presented in the King's personal sleeping chambers.

A bile of nausea hit Jimin as he was left alone with that filthy middle aged man who's intentions were nowhere near innocent.

"You don't have to worry. You won't be getting punished for any crime as long as you satisfy me...", The King stated. His greyish beard moved with his movements when he came to stand before Jimin in just his mere robe.

Jimin didn't lift up his head at all. He clenched his fists with disgust on his side. Just when the king lifted his hand to touch Jimin, he pushed the King with all his might who fell down being startled by the sudden surprise attack.

Jimin ran to the doors, he was sure as hell that there were no guards to respect the so called privacy of them. Even though the doors were really heavy, he managed to push them open before the King could catch upto him.

He didn't look back even once as he started running to the path his feet led him to....
