Part 51: My End Is Near

Present:

After hearing the story of Jimin in 1621 everyone was shocked. While Jin, Jihyun and Hoseok were in tears.

"So is that why you failed to break through the curse?"

Jimin silently nodded. His grip on Kai's hand became tight as the memories of that time flooded his mind. Even after these many years it was still a horror to live through.

"But Jiminie... You didn't have anyone beside one or two people by your side. But now we all are here for you. We all want you... To stay... So why don't you want to live?", Namjoon asked. Desperation clear in his voice. The otherwise calm aura holding person was in tears and it definitely wasn't a sight.

"I have lived enough Namjoon hyung. More than enough. Doesn't matter how. And the condition about trading my life is not even worthy. I won't be able to love them. Not now. Not ever. Even though they didn't do anything in this life nor they even remember.", Jimin sighed out.

"We should look more. If there's any way we could find out more ways to break the curse. But Jimin how did you got to know about these conditions that would help you break the curse?", Jihyun asked curiously.

"I had 700 years to think and make hunches Hyunnie...", Jimin chuckled sadly making everyone silent so he continued.

"I tried everytime I came alive. But every time my chances to live normally got ruined by them. Just like in 1621, if Kai hyung would have come to the cave to save me before Eclipse I would have been released from this timeless curse. But no... They had to kill hyung send my into deep abyss yet once again. At this point I just want release from everything. And it seems it's near.... My end is near......", Jimin mumbled the last part to himself as the dull throb in his heart sharpen giving the idea of his nearing fate to Jimin....

"So those bastards have to love my Minnie and go to the cave with him so that he could prove his true love to his dead family so that he could be forgiven and break the curse?? Bullshit.", Kai grumbled as he walked down the hallway with his hands tucked in his pants pocket.

"Don't curse. That's very much it. But listening to your story and my personal experience, I don't i would ever allow those mistakes of persons to come near him he already has suffered enough. If anyone even tries to bug him they will have to go through his hyung first!!", Hoseok growled with his fist clenched.

"Yeah!!"

"Yeah!!"

Both Kai and Hoseok looked at each other questionably. They were walking to their class together as Jimin was already in his own class. Suddenly a thought fell upon them giving rise to a new issue.

"I'm his hyung first. I came before you.", Hoseok shrugged. Kai narrowed his eyes while letting out a huff.

"Well I am his favourite hyung. Even though you came first, I was the one who released him. While you... Couldn't even save him from getting punished.", Kai snickered mockingly.

"Oh really? Even though I would have saved him, he would have turned back into stone!! He wasn't hanged afterall. But what about you!? You could have BREAK the curse and free him forever. But you freaking had to die on the wrong timing!! Is there anything you can do perfectly??", Hoseok bit back. Before Kai could raise his fist someone interrupted.

"Hyung?", Yeosang stood with wide eyes as he looked at two grown males arguing loudly in the college hallway and giving others a free show. And it was almost near to getting physical.

"Yeosangie? What are you doing here? Don't you have classes?", Hoseok asked as he neared the other male.

"I was going to the library since I need donfew assignments. But what are you doing here... With him?", Yeosang silently pointed towards Kai who stood stunned looking at both of them. Yeosang tried to hide a slight blush that appeared because of the way Kai was staring at him.

"He is your brother?", Kai grimaced with the hint of disbelief in his voice while mentioning about Hoseok.

"Yes. He is my baby brother. Do you have any problem?", Hoseok gritted his teeth. Kai looked at both Yeosang and Kai respectively, trying to make a judgement. The he turned towards Hoseok.

"God is really unfair sometimes..."

Jungkook and Taehyung sat at the last bench.

The teacher was discussing something really important but they couldn't pay even an ounce of attention on her as their eyes were sneakily stealing glances of a boy who has settled in their mind ever since they came to know the truth.

Jimin didn't pay any attention to them as always. He was sitting alone on his bench with his notebook and writing something down. Now that they know, Jimin didn't really knew how to write or read. Maybe since the language has changed so much from his time. They were understanding this just now.

They wanted to talk to him, but didn't know how that would end up.

They just knew that they have to start somewhere...
