Chapter 2 Love at first soul

The soul was a man who was running from the law.He prayed that he stole the food for his wife and newborn child.We act casual as the officer stops and asks for help.We run after him.He stops in a alley were his family eats hungrily.Sebastian waits around the corner as I step inside the alley.The man turns around and meets my eyes."Who are you?"He asks."I am here to help,but you must follow me in order to do so."I state.He nods and follows me outside the alley.
We meet with Sebastian around the alley.The man seemed frightened at first."What are you going to help me with?"He asks with a shake in his voice.I look hard at the man,he wasn't the soul we were looking for."We are going to help you stop the man who keeps trying to steal your child."I state simply.His eyes fill with tears."You believe me,no one ever believed me when I told them my child was being stolen,so I had to punch the thief before he got away."He said holding my hand.I felt very uncomfortable when the man was holding my hand,a wave told me that he was the soul we were looking for.My demon eyes glow with hunger.He begins to yell.I dig my fingers into his throat stealing his soul before anyone noticed.I held the bloody soul in my hands.I gave it to Sebastian,he was shocked."Im not hungry."I state.I pick up the body with my bloody hands."Grell,all yours."I state as Grell showed up.He saw my bloody hands,he turned pale."I can't believe you did it,I thought you would love human lives to much."He said."Says the dead who walk for lives of the living for food."I reply.That line always freaked Grell out.He claims his body tingles thinking about what I said.Sebastian wiped up the bloody parts on his skin.Then he did mine."Not bad for your first try."He said with a smile.The law comes rushing up.An the gasp as they see the dead man and my bloody hands."What happened here we asked you to stop him not kill him."The officer states angered.I come from behind Sebastian."He tried to steal the newborn child in there,so I finished their worries and your job,Your Welcome."I state bowing at the end.They stared a Sebastian and me with disbelief but they walked away.I turn and see Grell took the body already.Sebastian chuckled."What?"I state with a little giggle too."The way you bowed at the end was pure genius."He said.I stopped giggling when I heard a voice calling my name,twice.It sounded scared and frightened."Mia,"I realized sprinting away,Sebastian follows."Phoenix,whats going on?"Asked Sebastian and Grell."That little girl I saved earlier today,I gave her a hope stone,in case anything happened."I state still sprinting.
