Chapter 3 Village on Fire

The villagers were running around frantic,some were on fire.I had no other choice."Sebastian,Grell get the villagers out of here I will take care of the flames."I shout over the screaming villagers.Grell and Sebastian look uneasy about my idea.Why wouldn't they when I became a demon they believed I lost my powers.They couldn't argue.Once my mind is set there is no changing it."Power of the Phoenix."I fill my fist with water,I release a small amount of water which didn't do anything to stop it."Flame Catcher."A sphere forms around me as it swallows the flame.I become stronger with every minute of absorbing the flames.The flames disappeared after a few moments.The villagers where cheering everyone of them except for one.My gut told me something happened to her.I run to her house and she was on the floor bloody and pale.Her face was in a frightened position.
I start to tear slightly.A gloves hand appears on my shoulders."Hannah did this,she is responsible."I stated gently dropping her dead body on the ground.Sebastian nods as he pulls me away from Mia gently.Mia's parents walk in and see their daughter dead on the ground.They cry and I have to face reality,she was gone and there was nothing I could do about it.
We head back to the mansion to prepare dinner.I cut the vegetables all the same size.An I plop them in a boiling pot of water for them to soften to make mashed potatoes.Tonight was one of my favorite nights,tonight we would do a different kind of food,North American food.Sebastian cut the sirloins and put them on a fire to cook them medium rare.They were pretty excited to try a new kind of food.Mia still haunted my mind.Sebastian seemed to notice it more than I did.We stood there quiet for a few minutes."Bassy I have horrid news,we are low on tea for the master."Stated Grell.Sebastian gets the tea cart ready."Phoenix I will let you do it this time.To get your mind off things."He said.I put on the strongest smile I could muster.I walked to the study were the youngster was reading papers."Oh Phoenix,your just the person I wanted to see."He said.I pour a cup for Ciel."We are having a ball for Lady Elizabeth's birthday and I would like you to decorate the mansion."He said with a smile.Ever since I have helped him remember the good parts of his life he has been some what happier.I nod and walk out the door.Her theme was pink and pretty things.Which was never my strong point.I head back to the kitchen and Sebastian had everything ready to serve.I give a small smile as we enter the dining room everyone was smiling."Tonight we have a Texas Classic a medium rare steak with cheesy mashed potatoes and a side of steamed broccoli."I state setting down the plates.They cut into it and they smile with enjoyment.I wasn't hungry so I headed to my room to think what to do for Lizzy's party.Pink and a Baby Blue,maybe purple.Yellow and Light red.Stars,hearts and rabbits.Cute costumes.So much stress to handle I don't know how Sebastian handles stuff like this.A knock at my door sounds.Sebastian walks in."What must you be thinking about?"He asks setting down a hand held candle."Stuff for Lady Elizabeth's Birthday Party."I state with a yawn."Still not used to being a demon,huh."He asks.I nod."I will take care of it,you are a princess not a butler."He said holding my hands."I was ask by Ciel to do so,and besides I have already set my mind to it."I state.He rolls his perfect eyes."Phoenix don't make me use your name against you."He said with a threat like stare.I nod and he releases the stare.He leaves claiming he was called by his master.I get into my black silk night gown and try to sleep.
