It is not great but I let myself be tempted to write a fic song.

The worst had just been revealed.

The young woman could not take her eyes off the man.

Tears beaded on her cheeks, but she didn't try to hold them back.

She didn't know how much more time they had, but she didn't want to miss out on what they could share.

If the end was approaching then she wanted to live the little time that was left with him.

To hell with the rules and the eyes of others.

His happiness, even short, would come before everything.

She made the promise. And she made it to him.

But she wanted him to be strong, to resist as much as possible.

He didn't have to let himself down now, he had to think about her.

She would do anything if it could save him.

She was going to support him until the end, not letting him sink into death on his own.

She loved him and she wanted him to know it. She could never love another man like him.

She had to save him, it was up to her to make that promise to him now.

So she did it, from the bottom of her bruised heart.

But she made him promise to fight, for his friends, for her and their love.

Sadness washed over him, but it was true.
