Adele Laurie Blue Adkins was born on 5 May 1988 in the Tottenham district of London, to an English mother, Penny Adkins, and a Welsh father, Marc Evans. Evans left when Adele was 2, and she was brought up by her mother. She began singing at age 4 and asserts that she became obsessed with voices.
Part of Adele's childhood was spent in a socially deprived area in south London. ... Adele originally attended a local comprehensive school but it didn't suit her and she played truant. Luckily her musical talent was such that at thirteen she was awarded a place atthe renowned BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology.
Support needs: Learning disability and cerebral palsy, which cause Adele to be completely dependent on other people's help and support. She can barely use her hands and can only walk using a walking frame. Adele has severe epilepsy that requires her condition to be monitored frequently during the night.
