New Friends

Second was out getting fruits with Green, who was still worried for him.

"You know you could rest, right?" Green tried to start a conversation.

No reply.

Green sighed. "So what happened?"

Second responded. "I just had a headache. I'll be fine."

"You fainted, Second. I'm just worried."

A headache briefly struck Second. He groaned and put his hand on his forehead for a while.

His eyes glowed green for a split second.

"Second... are you okay?", Green blurted out. He became even more worried.

"Ugh... I'm fine. I just had another headache."

"Second, you should rest."

"No, no. I'm fine. Don't worry."

Green sighed anxiously.

A bush rustled beside them. They immediately directed their attention to the bush.

Green tried to sneak towards, approaching the bush, trying to see what or who was behind the bush.

Behind were Warm and Stal, shaking in nervousness.

Green sighed in relief, before asking in confusion, "Why were you guys behind the bush?"

"Oh, uhh... we were hoping to ask you guys a question." Stal tried to muster up the courage. "So, is it okay if we... um... join?", Stal nervously asked.

Second slid down the tree. "We'd be happy to let you join!", he said happily.

Green agreed and, with no hesitation, brought them to the group.

Yellow spotted Green with Warm and Stal. "Oh hi, guys! Warm and Stal, I suppose."

"Yeah, hello." Stal chuckled, putting a smile on his face while raising a "peace" hand gesture.

Yellow looked around the three, looking for Second. "Where's Second?"

Second stepped in. "Oh hi, Yellow."

Blue approached. "What's up? Oh hi!"

"So, yeah. Uh, they were asking if they could join.", Green informed them.

"Of course you can. Welcome!" Yellow happily shook Warm and Stal's hands.

Red and Support eventually joined in and welcomed them.

As the six of them were having a conversation, Warm felt a bit uneasy with Chosen nearby. He glanced at him occasionally whenever he moved.

Red noticed Warm's nervous emotion. "You okay, Warm?"

"H-huh? Oh, yeah. I'm fine. I'm just... nervous with him around." He tilted his head towards Chosen.

"Oh, Chosen? You can trust him, don't worry.", Red assured.

"Okay... if you say so."

Chosen sneezed out of nowhere. Warm got startled.

Chosen noticed Warm jolt. "What? I'm fine."

Stal was the only one awake at midnight. For some reason, he just couldn't sleep. He was a bit uncomfortable.

He decided to go for a walk to calm himself.

The fireflies illuminating the forest, the soft winds, the clouds. Everything calmed him.

Until a bush briefly rustled louder than the others. The wind didn't get stronger. And he was alone. Or at least, he thought so.

He squinted his eyes to see what was there. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Something red behind the tree beside the bush caught his attention.

A stick figure was eerily peeking at him from the tree and eventually moved behind the tree, slowly disappearing.

Cautious and curious, he slowly approached the tree, to see nothing behind.

Stal was a bit uneasy, but he eventually shook it off and continued with his walk.

The sun came up. Second was woken up by the bright light.

He got up to see Stal sitting not too far, clearly watching the sunrise. "Stal? Woke up early?"

"Huh? Ah, no. I just couldn't sleep last night."

"Is that so? Why couldn't you sleep?", he asked as he sat beside him.

Stal sighed softly. "I don't know. I just... didn't feel like sleeping, I guess."

A conversation started between them.

Blue later woke up. Under his yawn, he said, "Good morning."

Second responded. "Good morning, Blue."

"So, what are you two talking about?"

Stal became confused. "You could hear us?"

"Barely.", Blue answered.

"Nothing much, actually.", Second responded.

"Hm. Okay."

Blue eventually joined the conversation as well.
