The Fight

A huge dark cloud covered the whole area.

Dark pointed his hand up and stretched it out. A black energy beam came from the clouds and onto Dark's hands, a loud boom sounding from it. He raised his other hand and joined them together, then moved them apart, shaping a semi-circle. The energy thrummed louder as the energy beam split into two and changed its angles according to Dark's arm movement, revealing a bunch of ViraBots and small blades inside.

Second's eyes squinted, a sign that he's ready. Dark charged at him, and commanded the blades to shoot at him, and they successfully did so. Next was the ViraBots, whom he commanded to pin Second in place. The ViraBots' teeth clicked as they did what they were told. Then he put his hands close to each other, as if he was holding something. A black energy ball emerged and grew from the gap between his hands. The energy thrummed and buzzed, getting louder by the second. The ball glowed black as Dark shouted. Then he threw the ball to Second, exploding on impact. The pieces of the energy ball around Second came back closer to him and formed a cocoon-shaped structure. Dark flew to the cocoon as he summoned his blade, and thrusted the blade at the ball, impaling it and stabbing Second inside.

Dark panted from the amount of effort he exerted. Of course, his rest wouldn't last longer than he thought.

A green light started to glow inside the ball with Second and the ViraBots' silhouette visible, the energy thrumming louder and louder by the second. Eventually, the ball finally couldn't handle the amount of energy contained inside, so it exploded apart, letting go of it. A white light pulsated from the explosion as Dark gasped at what he saw.

Second flew to Dark and hit him, launching him away. He reappeared behind Dark and kicked him, repeating it for what seemed like a thousand times. Dark choked and spat out blood from the impact, but he still held. He lowered his head to Second and quickly launched an energy ball at him, sending him away. Second immediately flew back to Dark as soon as he slammed, charging up a green energy ball and launching it at Dark. Lightning bolts struck around the ball as it was on its way to hit Dark. Dark was slammed to the ground and thrown to the sky once again. Second reached out his hand to the left, where a huge rock was. The rock started to glow green as it floated according to how Second moved his arm. Second flew to Dark, raised his hand up, and threw the rock at him.

It happened quickly that Dark wasn't able to react. As he saw the rock falling towards him at high speed, his eyes widened in shock.

The rock hit Dark and crashed into the water, a loud boom and then a splash on two different impacts. The water exploded from the impact, its particles eventually raining back down to the ground.

It was over. Finally.

Warm woke up and opened his eyes. A loud boom startled him so much that it caused him to jolt up and stand. He cautiously and slowly walked closer to it to find Second floating in the air and staring at the falling water. "...Second?", he quietly said. It must've been louder than he intended, because Second heard him, responding by turning his head to him.

Second flew to Warm fast and hit him, launching him back. He started to fight Warm head-on, much to Warm's displeasure.

Warm tried to communicate with an out-of-control Second as he tried dodging his attacks. "Second! What are you doing!?" Second launched an energy ball as Warm continued talking. "Second, stop! This isn't you!"

Second raised his hand as a green light came out of it. A small part of the ground rose and turned into rocks, and pressed against Warm's chest, pinning him still. Warm struggled and blasted fire from his feet, but none seemed to work. "Hnng! Hrnng– d'ugh!" Warm tried to communicate again as he panted. "Second, please. This isn't you, Second."

Second moved his fingers closer, and the ground pressed on Warm's chest harder. "Agh! Ack! Second! Please!"

Second suddenly stopped moving. The ground didn't press any harder, leaving Warm to groan and exhale in relief. "Second?"

Second heard an echoing voice. "Your power can hurt people you never wanted to hurt. Learn to control it.", the voice said.

He eventually snapped into himself, and he put his hand on his head as he felt a headache. "Ughh."

Warm finally pulled free from the rocks and ran up to Second. "Second, are you okay?" Second nodded in response.

Second looked around him. A light flashed inside the dark cloud as the thunder rumbled. The leaves from the trees continued to sway from the slight wind. Second walked forward and further into the forest, with Warm following him.

He arrived at the place, where Support noticed him come in the area. Second kneeled down and put his two hands on the ground, releasing his power.

The ground started to glow green. Green orbs floated around the place, the energy starting to ring. The wind picked up around the area, gradually speeding up by the minute. The dark cloud started dissipating, the sunlight coming through the gaps in the clouds and eventually covering all of the area once all of the dark cloud had disappeared.

Code started to form the disintegrated sticks again. Blue appeared from thin air. "Wh... Second?" Yellow then appeared, then Green, then Red.

Green put his hands on his body, checking to see if he was really there. "We're back? How?" All of the sticks hugged each other.

"Second, seriously, how do you do that?", Red asked, running up to Second. Second simply smiled as he stood back up.

"Warm?"

Warm heard someone call his name, so he turned his head to see Stal, alive and uninjured. "Stal! You're okay?"

Stal smiled and walked closer to Warm as Warm ran to Stal and pulled him to a hug. Stal was startled at this, but he eventually hugged back as he smiled once more.

All of the sticks hugged Second in appreciation. It was truly a happy reunion. Chosen and Support watched the others, being happy for them.

Second suddenly felt dizzy, having a headache. It must've taken him a lot of energy when he released his power to the area earlier, because he crashed to the ground and blacked out. The voices of the others were drowned out by the sound of high-pitched ringing in his ears.

"Second...?"

"Second, wake up!"
