- Revelations -
To say Y/N came back from his home a different man would be an understatement.
Before, he was in a deep state of depression, with constant struggles as his memory flashed back every now and then.
Now? He was more energetic, no, more determined than ever, and had little to no doubts about his own past.
He told me he found everything he was looking for. How he used to have a family, and how he lost them during a decisive night for the undercity.
Even more shocking was the fact he was convinced that his two sisters were still alive.
I don't know what he did to discover this,
but Sheriff Marcus got very nervous because of it and took strangely harsh action. He ordered Y/N to be placed under a much stricter watch, making Enforcers patrol around his apartment, and even inspecting the inside every now and then.
When I asked him about it, Y/N told me about a great conspiracy regarding the new rulers of the underground, and how Marcus himself was linked to it.
He warned me not to trust the man.
As someone who had recently joined the Enforcers, hearing that the Sheriff himself could not be trusted was...it was difficult to take, to say the least.
I asked him how he felt about me joining this peacekeeping force. He just smiled at me and said :
"You might be the only Enforcer I could ever trust"

- A new man (?) -
As an Enforcer, I was forbidden to interact with my best friend. They never said anything about doing so as just "Caitlyn".
I would sneak my way into his apartment. Sometimes, we would go for a walk away from prying eyes.
Before, voiceless music could be heard from the inside of his home, but now there was no music at all. I would often find Y/N training with a saber.
I still remember the words he said when I asked him about it:
"I've grown soft, Cait. I need to become strong, for them."
Decorating his room was also a small shrine of some sort. Candles were placed, and a beautifully drawn portrait of his family rested above it. He said he wanted something to remember them with.

- Non-stop working -
Y/N wrote down everything he could remember regarding the old undercity and how this new one came to be.
He blamed the industrialist, Silco, saying things like he murdered his father, the previous leader.
As someone who would work on the frontlines, I offered to share with him any information I could find on this.
I...I will admit that I couldn't help as much as I wanted to, as I was kept stationed on boring tasks or away from the danger itself.
Of course, I blame this on my mother and the strings she pulled for this.
Still, I worked hard with Y/N to build a solid theory on this topic
How Silco transformed everything, this Shimmer substance that turned people into monsters, and even the possible whereabouts of Y/N's sisters.
I've never seen him talk this much, and it was all to bring down an old enemy of his.
We would even stay up at night discussing these findings. I may or may not have fallen asleep a few times only to wake up back in my own bed.
... still don't know how Y/N managed to sneak me back home every time.
It wasn't all work, though, sometimes we would take a day off or would enjoy some of Piltover's festivities together
I like to think we've grown fairly close to each other. The fact that he trusted only me with these findings spoke volumes.
Whenever something troubled me, he would also take the time to listen and try to help me.
I wish I could still say the same for Jayce, he's too busy building a "better tomorrow".

- See you soon...I hope -
Y/N spent as much time training as he did building theories. Working on stealth, building strength, and his previous abilities with swords.
At some point, he even asked me to teach him how to shoot a gun. I like to think I did a good job.
A nice dinner was the price to pay for my lessons, though.
Unfortunately, it was only a matter of time before Y/N realized he couldn't learn much from staying here in Piltover, especially when Marcus kept him so restricted.
So he decided to embark on a journey of his own. First, to Demacia, then to Noxus, he said.
Stories talked about fierce warriors that were also good with the blade. Hopefully, they'll agree to lend their knowledge.
As much as I would like to join Y/N in this, my calling is here, and I understand this is something he needs to do on his own.
But I did make him promise to stay in touch. He is my best friend, after all.
The boy I used to know as "Heartstring" from the times he played in the streets, was now well on his way to other lands, to become a better warrior for his family.
Such are the twists of fate, I suppose.
As I see the airship leaving Piltover, I can't help but feel the loneliness take over.
But I know it is for a good cause, and I know Y/N will return...when he's ready.
