Chapter 2 the challenge

Zim's base
Zim POV
I was sitting on my base laboratory still thinking about that filthy Reika human dared to provocated me, how dare a insignificant and inferior human tease ME, ZIM the future ruler of her disgusting world!?...ahahahhAHAHAHAHAH oh well I'll give her special treatment in the cells or like my personal maid cleaning my room and my stuff, but for now I will enjoy myself humiliating her in tomorrow's challenge
I laugh again

Reika home 18:00
Reika POV
I was back to that disgusting school from some hours, I was taking a bath to remove all disgusting dirty that my perfect smooth skin get there, in that place don't know cleaning ethics?! I wonder why my parents decided to move here...then I remembered that weird kid named Zim challenged me
"pfft ahahahahahah"
I laugh at that, looks like that Zim in addition to not knowing me does not even know that since I was a child I've practiced self-defence and martial arts, well he will find out soon~

Dib POV
I was in my room reading one of my favourite paranormal books when I remembered that Zim challenge Reika, I smiled thinking that I was not longer the only one against Zim, I want avoid to tell Reika that Zim is actually a alien for now, she probably react like others saying I'm crazy and believing at stupid excuses like skin condition.
I put my book back and get off my bed when I heard Gaz calling me for dinner.

Morning, The challenge day
Reika POV
"where did he go?!"
I said in frustration standing in in the midle of the playing area behind the school, I was waiting 5 minutes now, how someone that challenged be late?!
my patience was running out but when I was about to leave I heard a laud laugh

I said to myself

Zim POV
damn Gir he made me late at the challenge, I was running over the school then I saw that Reika human waiting with all kids around the challenge area
I smirk
perfect so also them will learn to respect ME
I start laugh when I noticed the annoyed stare of Reika human
"finally you here...nobody told you that is rude make a girl waiting?!"
she commented making again that weird thing with her hair, Dib stink called it "swish hair"
I proceeded walking over her
"ME THE GREAT ZIIIIM ARRIVED"
I announced proudly

Dib POV
I made sure I was in the front row, Reika and Zim get in position, then Reika was the first to attack, Zim just stand there
mmmh...weird
I said to myself, Reika was to hit Zim but some invisible force push her back making her bang on the school wall
all was shocked while Zim start to laugh but fortunately Reika looks fine since she get up quickly to start again to attack Zim without success.
"I need to find out wich thing Zim is using to prevent Reika to hit him"
I said to Gaz that was next to me don't paying attention at the challenge but playing her videogame as usual
"yeah yeah do whatever you want but shut up now"
she said without took away her eyes from the console
I rolled my eyes and take from my bagpack my special glasses, I create them to analyze and find some Irken technology ,
so I put them and start to scan on Zim body, I wait some seconds then success!
"Zim is using a kind of energy barrier to avoid Reika attacks, there on his left arm"
I informed Gaz
"fascinating...now stop distracting me or you will pay"
she said glaring at me, then the idea
"distractions?...GAZ YOU ARE GENIUS"
I was about to hug her but I avoid when she start to growl at me
I know what to do now.

Reika POV
damnt! why I can't even touch him?! is like there some kind of barrier or stuff but this is impossible...
I didn't give up and kept trying to hit him but without sucess
I fall on my knees with labored breathing while Zim continued making fun of me
"AHAHAHAH what's the matter Reika human? no so strong to even touch the ALMIGHTY ZIM?~"
ok he starting to annoying me now, I was about to reply back but Dib behind him preceded me
"hey Zim!"
Dib called him that turn on his direction
"is better you find a shelter since is going to RAIN"
he smirk and marked rain then I see Zim look in horror over the sky
wtf?! is a sunny day...and why Zim looks so terrifying to the rain by the way?
I returned to watch over them and when Zim get distracted looking over the sky, Dib grab a weird looking...bracelet on Zim arm then smashing on the ground and step on destroying it
...ok that's weird, I mean why he did that in the middle of a challenge?
Zim realise late Dib's plan he was to say something to Dib but I called him
"HEY ZIM"
he turned over me
"ours challenge is not ended yet"
I said smirking, I don't know why Dib did that but something tell me that was to help me

Zim POV
that stupid Dib stink destroyed my pocket magnetic camp, I was about to say something to him when I heard Reika human callimg me, is true ours challenge is not over yet, I can get my revenge on Dib stink later, now I have something more important to do, who cares if I don't have my pocked magnetic camp, I'm Zim, I can win without Irken technology, just Irken military ability
I run over Reika human to hit and making her fal but she just dodge it
wait h-how?
I retried  but she did again...and again and again
what on Irk is goin on!? she was so agile before too?!
yes!...now that I remember, when I was still using my poket magnetic camp her movennze was not random, she was actually studing me and my moves all the time and now she using them with this weird combat kind over me...
"AND NOW THE FINAL MOVE"
she declared and before I knew it, she leapt on top of me doing a somersault in air and then grabbed my arm and knocked me on the grond...she put a her arm over my chest making me still there
"just a advice...never underestimate your opponent"
she smiled satisfed looking down over me...I feelt my cheeks burn like fire with a tint of light green that human call...blush
all the kids cheer up for her, I get up dusted myself off when I saw DIb enjoying my defeat, I glared at him when then Reika human lean her arm over me
"it was a funny challenge Zim, you was pretty cool you know?"
she smiled at me and that blush thing come again on my cheeks then I hold her hand back and slowly shake it
"yes yes wather"
the bell rang and all run over the entrace and it was that moment that I realized something...I realized that I found my queen
