CH23 : Unexpected News

Bright POV

I looked at the clock, it's already 7pm but Win has not yet arrived. It has been a week since Win moved into his unit. As he let out a sighs, the door was open from outside. There, Win walked inside slouchly with a tired face.

Before I could say anything, Win plumped himself beside me and lean his head on my shoulder while mumble something with eyes close.

"I'm so tired"

I patted his head gently, "I should put you into rest for awhile. Less work"

He shook his head, eyes still close.

"Let me sleep for awhile here. I'm too tired to move my limb right now" Win adjusted his head on my shoulder so that he could sleep comfortably.

"I can lift you to bed"

"No.. it's fine. Just a moment. I want to sleep inside your arm" Win mumbles softly while snuggling into my arm.

I smile when I heard that. I opened my arm and wrapped Win closed to my body. Not long after that, I can hear small breathing coming from Win. He totally exhausted.

My mind still at the news I just got from my informer. Didn't know how I should tell Win about this. But this can't be waited. Or else Win would lost the chance. I hope Win was not hurt too much by this.

"Bright..?"

I looked at the person who just entered the kitchen. He wore full set of pajama. Looking at this, he must had his shower already.

"You are awake? Go have some rest. You looks so tired when you arrived here"

"It's fine now. I got some good sleep just now. Thanks to you" He smiles and walked to me.

"What are you doing?" He peeked on me.

"I made a simple dish because I am hungry. You want some?"

"This looks tasty! Can I have some?" I chuckles when I see Win's eyes was shining looking at the dish.

"Let's have a seat first"

We took a seat on the dining table.

I made a spagetti carbonaro. It is really simple. I used anything that leftover in the refregirator.

"Gosh.. this is so delicious Bright!"

Win looks enjoy this simple dish of mine. Ahh.. I forgot he is a fooder.

"Win..."

He lift his head to me. I almost laugh when I see the stain on his cheek. Is he 3 years old kid?

I took a tissue n wiped the stain on his face, "Let's go to Japan next week"

He looks a bit shocked.

"So sudden?" He asked while his mouth still full with food.

"I have some bussines at Japan. I want you to be with me" I glanced at him. Waiting for his response.

"I would like to go... but my work.." He stop eating and look at me.

"I already asked your manager. You don't have important work next week, and all your work has been reschedule"

"Ahh.. sometimes I forgot that my boyfriend is CEO" Win laughs.

"So, to Japan are we?"

Win nodded his head with a smile. The excitement can be seen clearly on his face. I have mix feelings about this. I didn't tell him yet the purpose of this traveling. I will tell him after we went there. I don't want to see he's getting worried and overthink about it.
