CH28: Forgiveness

Bright and Win arrived at the hospital after having a breakfast at home and bring some of it with them. They parked at the VIP designated area parking lot where it connected directly to Win's mom floor.

When they entered the room, they found another person already occupied inside it.

The other person who sat, staring queitly at the woman who was sleeping on the bed switch his gaze towards them.

"What are you doing here?" Bright asked coldly.

Win held Bright's arm and shook his head. Trying to calm down Bright's anger. He saw First facial expression look miserable, not as usual as he used to see. As if he was looking at different person.

"Have you eaten yet?" Win asked casually. Ignored the looked he got from Bright.

First was stunned by the sudden question. But he immediately composed himself. He stood up and he bowed towards both Bright and Win and walked out from the room without said any words.

Win looked at the back of the person who just retreat far away from them. That back was not confidence as usual. That shoulder was slouched down. That facial expression was not good. And it look more sorrow from the back. He wonder what made First look like this. He suddenly felt sympathy. After all First was his mom's son.

"Win, it is useless to be polite with that kind of person." Bright said after calming down a bit.

"But he looks different. Looks like he is sick or something" Win said while walking to the table beside the bed and put the food that he brought on it. Bright followed along.

"He may want to fish out a sympathy. Win, let me tell you. He always tricked me and Luke before. He would do anything to gain a benefit for himself. He never changed. Please be careful around him. I don't want you to get hurt" Bright let out his concern.

Win smiled as he sat on the chair. He took out the food and said, "Don't worry, as long as I have you, I know no one can hurt me"

Bright helped Win to set up the food on the table and replied seriously, "Yes, I won't let it happen"

Win just finished shooting his ads commercial when suddenly he got call from First asking to meet him alone. At first, he wanted to let Bright knows but knowing Bright, he won't let Win met First alone. So, he didn't tell Bright.

Now, First was in front of him. He looked worse than last time Win met him. Win wondered what the important things First wanted to say to him.

"How is your life?" Win tried to start conversation first after the other kept silent since they sit together.

First look distracted but he then answered in short, "Just fine."

Then both of them fell into silent again until the waiter put the drinks on the table. Win muttered thanks to the waiter and focused again at the person in front of him.

"Win.." First called Win with hesitated.

Win waited for the other person to continued his words.

"I ask to meet you in person because.. because I want to apologize. I know I have wronged you a lot and I don't deserve any forgiveness from you but still I want to apologized for my unmoral behaviour." First paused to take a breath.

Win didn't see this coming. He actually shocked having First apologized to him. First looked sincere and honest while talking to him.

"I know you may not want to believe in my words but I still want to say it. There are things I didn't tell you yet back then. About mom."
