Wedding Day

Nandini's Pov(Things are happening too fast...within a span of 3 days...I met this guy...now I am getting married to him...Mom and Dad I am doing this all for my family, for you both and Uncle and Aunty....Although this marriage is going to last for a single year...I am going to try my best to to make all of you proud...give me strength to be with Manik...)

Manik's Pov(This is it..no matter what happened yesterday...I am doing this for my Company...For all my hard work that I have done for the past year....For Dadi to be happy..Dadi has done so much for me all her life....This is least I can do for her...)

Wedding Evening..

Navya:Nandu..you are looking so pretty...

Nandini:stop saying that..this is 10th time you are shouting that(laughiing)

(Nandini in her wedding dress )

Aunty: Nandu...my precious little girl you are getting married today...I am so happy(happy tears)

Nanidini:Aunty please don't cry ....you have been no less than a mother to me...without  you I would not be where I am today...Thank you for everything

Aunty:You gave a childless woman the place of mother Nandu...Thank you for accepting mine and your Uncle's Love....we wish you nothing but happiness in life...

(hugs Nandini and weeps and Nandini Tears up too)(Mr.Murthy enters the room)

Uncle: Nandu...Bachha...Although we could never fill the void of your parents.... remember...just you are getting married doesn't mean the doors of my house will be shut for you.. remember this is always going be your house...no matter what you are going to our daughter....

(Nandini hugs Her Uncle  and Aunty cries)

Nandini:Uncle thank you so much for everything...You both have loved me like your own...I am so greatful for that...I want both of you to move to the states now like you have always wanted...spend your time in Hawaii....promise me that...please

Aunty: Nandu...how can we leave you and go...

Nandini: Aunty please...think of this as my wedding gift please...I have booked the tickets, all the bags are packed..the fight is is at 5 pm tomorrow...promise me please(smiles brightly)

(lends her palm forward)

Uncle: But Nandu...

Nandini: No Buts No Ifs...promise me now

(they both give in)

Uncle:Okay you stubborn little girl(pinches her cheeks)

Aunty:Ohoo Mruthyji Don't ruin her makeup(shouts)

(startled)

Uncle:Okay Okay...now lets go down

*At Malhotra Mansion*

Dadi: Manik are you ready?

Manik: Yes Dadi...

Dadi:Come here...(opens a broach from her jewelry box)  Manik this belonged to you great grandfather...it is a family heirloom...your father was supposed to give this to you on your wedding day....(bitterly)But here I am giving it to you...I want you to pass it down to your child...

Manik:Dadi why are  you remembering them...as long as you are here with me I am happy...

Manik's Pov(Dadi is already thinking about kids while this marriage only going to last for an year...I don't know how she will handle it when she gets to know about it)

Dadi:Manik...what are you thinking?

Manik:Nothing Dadi

Cabir: Where is our Groom..(shouting)

Mukti:Stop shouting Cabir...

(Manik  enters with Dadi)

Cabir: Manik how do you feel..you are loosing your freedom to Nandini( acting as an anchor)

Manik:Shut up Cabir(Dadi laughing)

Manik: Where is Alia...

(Alia Enters with the groom turbun for Manik)

Alia: Manik bend down..( places the turbun on his head)..it looks good right Mukti?Dadi what do you think?

Dadi:It looks great Alia...

Alia: Now our Groom is ready..(smiles)

Manik:Thank you Alia(Smiling)

Dadi: Lets leave...before it gets late.....

(they leave for Nandini's house)
