Chapter 28

(Nandini enters the restaurant and Saw Manik )

Nandini's Pov:(My body froze..I was not able to move a step forward...he was here in flesh and blood...seeing him my blood grew cold..my body became pale..my hands started to sweat...This was him the person I longed for...loved and missed and also greatly hurt  by...My breadth becoming unstable I just did not not know what to do...tears started flowing  down my cheek bones...I could not handle the overwhelming feeling so I just try to go out...)

(Manik comes and holds Nandini's hand to stop her)

Manik:(teary eye)Baby...

Nandini's Pov(I flinched to his touch...my body longed for his touch.. I did not how know how to react to his touch..so I moved my hands away from him...I just wanted to move..I was not ready for all this...)

(Nandini moves away)

Manik's Pov(It was first time ever she flinched to my touch...she had never resisted me ever before...my heart was in pain to see react that..)

Manik: Nandini I just want to talk please 

Nandini's pov( I was not able to talk.. the shock has consumed me...tears were not stopping. I grew weak to his touch.. All the courage I had developed these past years disappeard My mind was  blank.. with great difficulty I came up with words)

Nandini: Please Leave Manik..I don't think we have anything talk about Manik please leave...I have built a life for me without you here...I told you I will never come into your life life..please...Don't ruin it..It's just not me this time please..Manik please leave...(Sobbing)

Manik's Pov(My heart broke.. her eyes which used to sparkle before was filled pain and fear of me..I just wanted to pull her into a tight hug and tell her I will never leave her or my daughter alone..not this time...I will cherish them with all life)

Manik:(Raises his voice)NO..I am never letting you go..YOU ARE MINE..(pulls her towards the table and makes her sir there)

Nandini:(flinches and sits)

(Manik gets water for her and hands the glass to her..)

(Nandini Calms down)

Manik: Nandini..Baby listen...(And explains everything that happened 4 years ago)

(Manik hold Nandini's hands gently)

Manik: Nandini...You have no idea how how I have lived the past 4 years..I have repented every minute of my life...I want you back...I want my life back..I have loved you with all my heart..there has not been a moment where I have not miss I not missed you..(crying)

(Nandini realizes her hand and  gets up out of the chair  and slaps Manik)

Nandini:(crying) Why didn't you come sooner? Do you have any idea how I have been the last 4 years. Thinking you did not love me...And now when I decided to stop loving you you show up and tell me you love me ...what do you think I am? A toy? when you get bored you stop playing with..(crying)..But this time I am not going to fall for...I am not going to let my child be unloved by you..please go  Manik

Manik:(looses his  cool raises his voice)Listen..who the fuck told you I have no love for you or my child...You are my fucking life Nandini..there is no one in this entire world that could make me feel belonged by only you..You make me a human...You make me want live...You are the only reason I want to live my life and to become a better person...So don't you question my sincerity...I know I have not been the best husband to you, because of all trauma and fear of abandonment...I am sorry for that and will spend every minute of my life making up for it..So please give me a chance...Please give us a chance...to be a family..for  me to raise my child with you..to give her all the love in the world..so she doesn't grow up the way I did...Please give another chance to love you and cherish the two of you please Nandini I can't  live without you please...Don't push me away...Please I am begging you(goes down on both his knees) Please forgive me...please come back to me please(crying)....

 Nandini's Pov(My heart melted..the man I loved with all my heart...The man I missed and craved so much was begging me to forgive him..he was standing  there as the father of my child who is wanted cherish our child...He loved me like I loved him...or even more...He cared for me..he loved his child...And I was in the spot to choose weather he is going to be in my and Maahi's life...But seeing him in this way...his eyes telling the amount of pain he was in the last 4 years...Atleast I had Maahi...while he was there alone trying to figure out everything while dealing with his pain and struggle  of being abandoned...My heart sank thinking my lack of trust in him made him this miserable...Life has given another chance to me...To have a family...A man who loves me and needs me...A blessing in form of a child...I will not let Maahi bee deprived of her father's love..I will not let Manik be miserable...I will not let my the chance of having a happy family  go...I will forgive Manik...Because I love him and I want him as much as he wants me)

(Nanidini bends down and helps Manik stand up..She hugs him tightly)

Nandini: Baby..Don't do this again..I can not llive like this away from you..I was miserable trying to figure everything on my own...That day I did not think twice before I left..when I came here I was lost but I was strong for our Daughter...Please Manik don't let us be alone I can't do it(crying)

Manik:(crying..tightens the hug)No Never...I will never let you or my little girl away from me..not even for a second...I can't live without you Baby..I love you...I want my wife back..I want my daughter.. I love you Nandini I love you I love you....(weeps) please forgive me please

Nandini: I forgive you Manik...I love you...Lets start over again...

Manik's Pov(She in my arms...I got my life...Nandini forgave me and I have the love of my life in my arms now...her warmth filled my body.. made me a human again.. she is the light to my life..now that I have her..I  am never letting her go ever again...She is finally all mine)

(Manik pulls out of the hug and cups Nandini's Face and gently lands his lips on her's)

Nandini's Pov(I was in his arms...the feeling I missed...the void in me is finally filled now is Manik is here by my side I am not alone...I feel protected... belonged and wanted...when his lips landed on my lips...It was nothing but surreal...that one kiss was enough to know how much he missed me..how much he wanted me and how  much he LOVED ME...)

(they realsie each other to catch breadths)

*Navya enters with Maahi*

(Maahi runs towards Nandini and hugs her..)

Maahi: Mumma I have so much fun..I played all the slides and also tried the maze and blocks...you know there were so many color balls there...(her attention goes out towards Manik)

Maahi: Mumma he is same Uncle in your  room?

Nandini: Yes sweetie..

(Maahi suddenly hugs Manik's legs)

Maahi: Hello Uncle..My mom always tells me about you..I am Maahi Malhotra

(Manik looks at Nandini being overwelhemd)]

(Nandini holds Manik's hands and pulls him closer)

Nandini:Manik meet you daughter..Maahi

(Manik bends down and picks up Maahi and Maahi suddenly hugs Manik)

Maahi: Daddy....

(Manik started crying in the little girl's embrace)

Maahi: Daddy you won't leave us  again willl you...Mumma cries every night thinking about you..

(Manik was so happy in his daugher's embrace and he was holding his daughter for the first time in his life...His daughter called him 'Daddy' his heart was full he was the happiest in the entire world...)

Manik: No Baby..Daddy will never leave you or your Mommy ever again..I love you my little one...I will cherish you all my lifee

(Little Maahi wipes Manik's tears)

Maahi: Daddy why are you crying don't cry you have Maahi loves  you too...you are big you should not cry...

(Manik's wipes his tears and hugs Maahi one more time and pulls Nandini into the hug)

Manik: This is the happiest day of my life..I have my wife and my daughter in my arms...
