(6 months later)

Nandini's Pov(It has already been a year since I got married to Manik...our first anniversary is  in 2 days...I have never been this happy after my parents' death..Manik has made me feel protected and cared...Although I haven't been feeling well recently...I don't know why..I tend to feel nauseous in the mornings...I think I must have had a stomach upset...I haven't told Manik  about this because I did not want it to be worried...So Navya decided to take me to the hospital although I did not want to....)

Nandini: Navya I told you I am fine...why did you bring me here?

Naya: Shut up!! Nandu...we better get you checked...

Nandini: OK madam!!!(laughing)

(Conversation with the Doctor)

Doctor: How long have been feeling Nauseous?

Nandini: from almost 2 weeks..

Doctor:When was your last period?

Nandini: I have been late by a month...which is quite normal for me...

Doctor:Lets get some tests done...

Naya: Why Doctor is everything fine?

Doctor:Lets get the results of these tests first...

(After sometime the doctor comes back with the reports..)

Navya: Is everying all right doctor?Is my friend fine?(worried)

Doctor: She is more than fine...

Nandini:What do mean Doctor?

Doctor: Congratulations!! Mrs.Malhotra..you are pregnant...

(Nandini shocked)

Nandini: Are you sure Doctor? There is must be a mistake..

Doctor:No Mrs.Malhotra You are 3 weeks pregnant..

(Navya hugs Nandini.....with happiness)

Navya: Nandu... I am so happy...you are expecting...You are going to be a great mother...

Nandini's Pov( When I saw the ultrasound...a tiny human growing inside me..a symbol of our marriage...Manik is going to be so happy when he gets to know  about this...I am going to let him know  on our Anniversary..)

Navya: Nandu? Nandu?(shakes her)

Nandini: Huh?

Navya: Are you fine?

Nandini: Ofcourse I am fine(hugs Navya)

Nandini: Navya I am becoming a MOM...I am so happy..

Navya: Yes you are!! I am so happy for you...I am always going to be there for you and this tiny one growing inside you...

Nandini: Thank you so much for always being there....
