Brutality. The state of being Brutal. Being Brutal is the state of inflicting great physical violence, or great cruelty. That is the perfect word to describe their training regimen. Utterly Brutal and Grueling. Similar to the one Thragg had undergone when he was around their age. It starts small, dipping your toes in ideologies and being molded to a success. The mind is strengthened from the moment they are born. They're endowed with will to live and the desire to prove themselves the greatest.

Now, as their powers begin to show every second of everyday will be spent pushing those powers to their limits. Tempering them, and molding them into the greatest of both their species. They will serve his purposes well, the ones who survive at least. Like little Zula, she excels at whatever physical challenge is thrown at her. Right now she's tearing apart the training bots with power and savagery, not unlike her Dragon Ancestors, Zula will make a fine warrior. Others like Tobi, are adequate warriors but their Magical talents are much more impressive, perhaps he'd make a good supporting unit. Then there's (Y/n), the boy was moping in his little corner, balled up like a pathetic little mongrel. It agitated Thragg to see him sitting there doing nothing, as he walked over he couldn't stop himself from balling a fist in frustration.

(Y/n) looked up just in time to see Thragg's hand coming down on him and snatching up his arm before raising him up. The Boys mind suddenly went from calm to completely panicked, his life was suddenly out of his hands and in the hands of his father Thragg. Instead of instant death or a lost limb, he received something almost as bad. Thragg simply talking to him.

Thragg
"Here is something interesting (Y/n), when I dismiss you all for personal exercise, you just sit in that corner. When I am lecturing, you just sit in that corner. When I am demonstrating, you just sit in that corner. We have no room for laziness in this Empire."

Suddenly, Thragg began dragging the boy through the halls by his arm. They went to the right a d down a flight of stairs before opening a bulkhead and tossing (Y/n) into the room. (Y/n) looks up again to see Thragg looking down at him with that agonizing white light at his back.

Thragg
" So do your best. "

[=====[----------] =====]

As the door shuts and that oh-so-homely darkness seeps in once more, before once again being shut out by those dreaded white lights. (Y/n) hissed in discomfort at the irritating sensation of light touching his skin. As his eyes adapted to the blinding illumination he recognized the location. The same dreaded training room he's been going to for the last few days.

(Y/n)
"W-Wait!! I'm sorry father! I'll fight harder, I'll pay attention! Open the door! Please!"

(Y/n) was cut off by the sound of the massive door 40 feet across from him begin to creak open, the boy looked into the rising darkness in fear of what horror was going to come and end him. However looking it into that Darkness offered yet another familiar feeling, that of comfort and ease. The boy then slowly recalled his fathers words, that a true Viltrumite never allows fear to stop him from fighting for the Empire. This was his time, to maybe earn some mercy from his parent. So no matter how much that little voice of his said not to, he got up and raised his arms into a jittering fighting position. Fist up to your forehead, arms protecting your face and legs in front and back of him. Just like in the training. Then suddenly as he approached, the monster finally made itself known.
