"AJ! I need to speak to you!"
The cyan pegasus dashed around the apple orchard, looking for her friend.
"Over here Rainbow Dash!" Came Applejack's voice. RD's heart fluttered. Pushing her worries out of her mind, she swooped down and landed in front of the earth pony. "What was it, sugarcube?" AJ asked kindly. Rainbow Dash started having doubts, but internally shook her head. I can't mess this up, she told herself, even awesome ponies want to keep as many PBFs as possible. Applejack gave her a questioning look. "You alright, sugarcube?" She asked, "y'all zoned out for a second." "I-I'm fine." RD brushed it off, heart racing. "I just needed to...er..." She trailed of. Do it Rainbow Dash, her brain yelled. Who ignores their brain?
Rainbow Dash mustered all of her courage. And kissed Applejack. The butterflies in her stomach started doing sonic rainbooms. After a few seconds, she pulled back, blushing madly. AJ just looked shocked. "I'm so, so, so, so sorry!" Cried rainbow Dash, "I don't know what... I mean... I'm sorry!" She took of, flying faster than Soarin.
"What did I just do!?" She screamed to herself when she reached her cloud, "why didn't I just... Oh I don't know, tell her?" Tears flowed freely out of her magenta eyes. "What have I done?" The wind carried her whisper but it fell short of Applejack's ears.
"What did I just do!?" Applejack muttered to herself, "why didn't I tell her that I liked her back!?" She kicked a tree in frustration. Apples rained down on the pony, knocking her hat off. Applejack didn't care. She collapsed onto the soft grass of Sweet Apple Acres, tears flowing freely from her emerald eyes. "What have I done?" Neither did her whisper reach the rainbow mare that she loved so much.
