I texted our groupchat with something I've been contemplating. It had been years since everyone had been together, all at once. Well, besides birthdays. Because all of us want to meet we have a shared calendar, and just now seemed like the perfect opportunity.

I chuckled at whatever was going on there. The meetup seemed possible, we were going to finally see Niki and Techno after a long time. Niki had moved to Germany and Techno went... Somewhere? He said it was like the nether, but... Maybe it's for the better that I don't know.

It had been a few hours of intense planning and calling the somehow 21 year old Tommy a child, but we got everything worked out. In around two days the first few, meaning Quackity, Karl and Sapnap would arrive. Niki and Techno had managed to find flights surprisingly quickly and would arrive after them. Everyone else would arrive soon after. We were aggressively cleaning up the house. George had somehow convinced me to vacuum the floors while he put everything in it's place. George was helping everyone with the planning, scheduling and logistics while I put all that to practice.

We were sat in my truck, waiting for Quackity, Karl and Sapnap to get back. Karl had moved to Texas, living with Sapnap and Quackity who had to share a house with the couple, often complaining about third wheeling. I saw the trio walking up towards the truck and nearly jumped out the car. I was quick to hug all of them, George not far behind. After quick greetings we all made our way to the truck, the trio sitting in the back, Quackity sitting in the middle to "stop them from smooching" which made us chuckle.

After letting them settle in and unpack, we left Karl to "make sure the children don't get hurt" as we drove back to the airport to get Niki and Techno. Well, get Niki, Techno had asked me to get him from the cave opening near the beach? There's so many questions I want to ask, but I'm not ready to hear the honest answer. After we had gotten Niki we drove there and there he was, waiting for us, in the shadow of the small overhang the cave has. "You guys made it, it's nice to see you all again" he greeted us. We made it to the car and back to the surprisingly not burned down house.

Next up we got a message from the rest, saying they were on their way. It was interesting that they were the last, considering they're the only ones that still lived in Florida.  They eventually made it here, in the last few hours of the day. It was nearing midnight, so we did what any responsible adults would do. We ordered pizza, caught up with anything and everything we had done, heard and seen, bickered and watched a movie. This time Niki had chosen the film "Iron Sky The Coming Race" (underrated af, a good watch) which she had seen once before with one of her friends.

"So Techno, where the hell have you been?" Wilbur broke the question all of us had been wanting to ask. Techno's face turned serious before slightly relaxing. "Would you believe if I said I went back in the nether where my family was from? What did you think was in that cave? Where do you think the cave came from? Where do you think the creators of Minecraft got the idea for the nether from?" All of us were too stunned to even process the information. (The woman was too stunned to spe-) Yes, Techno and his family looked like piglins, but of course I didn't expect that. Then Ranboo spoke up.

"So I was right, my family isn't the only one from another dimension. We're from the end, but have been in this dimension for centuries, so that's why we look human. Also, me and Tubbo found a zombified piglin child on our doorstep, he looks like a really mini Techno, also did you hear about the rip in the ozone? It's getting bigger. It kinda looks like a porta-"
