Love you (Red eye x Valt) Pt-3

Shu stared into the early darkness of a thick cloud, wondering if there's any possibility that he can go back in time and never join the snake pit organization, never hurt his best friend's feelings. Mistakes happens, it's human nature, making mistakes and regrets later. His mind was clouded with regrets, the past events with Valt flashes before his brilliant crimson eyes. The day he first met the bluenette. Out of everyone he stands out, his easy going nature felt comfortable. Shu was unable to make friends or in his terms, he decided to stay away from people, after all they gossip about him behind his back. They are back stabbers, pulling a fake smile. But Valt however, is different from others. He doesn't care about how Shu looked like. He doesn't care about how weirdly quiet Shu was. He just see through his soul and showed him hope. The one Shu lost in friendship. Valt was so natural, he was so true to him. Shu never felt lonely after the day he met valt. He always sticks with him through his best and his worst. But in return he broke his heart. His trust. His feelings.

What's the difference between him and the rest of the others?

Guilty at the thought of ditching Valt. The one and only true best friend and his lover. There's no way he could fix all the messes he made. Valt is heartbroken so does he. There's no way to escape this whole mess.

"I'm sorry," Shu raised his glance at the distant horizon, his face twisted with guilt and sadness, "Valt"

Valt will never forgive me for what I have done, he thought looking at his phone screen which displays a photo of Valt and him two years ago. They were happy with a childish smile and innocent heart. Apparently it was taken the day before Shu confessed his feelings for the bluenette. Those days will never come ever again.

He sucked in a deep breath, clenched and unclenched feeling his nails digging into the soft skin of his palm,  "Shu" his eyes snapped open at the familiar voice, was he dreaming?

"Shuu."

His heart was forced to pound against his chest, the same old feelings, he refused to turn around he's a mess. He can't allow himself to fall for those cheap mind tricks. It's his imagination, Valt isn't even here. The urge to turn back and look into the beautiful hazelnut eyes, his lips quivered. He could feel the tiny hair on his arms stands tall at the voice, "I won't let you run away from me again." A pair of hands hugged him from behind, a small face buried into his jacket, "Ever again."

It can't be real.. right?

His hand touched the small one, "V..valt..?"

A few moments of silent followed by some tiny sniffles and little sobs. As the sun was setting beyond the distant horizon, Shu turns back on his heel, but Valt never let go of his tight hug afraid if he let go, Shu will disappear. The red eyed male ruffled his dark blue hair, caressing him in the gentlest way possible. A chilled breeze passed them, But they didn't care less as each other's presence is enough for them. The world around them stopped. The time stuck in a loop.  Shu didn't let go of the hug either, he doesn't care if strangers stare at them passing comments, he doesn't care about them and their insulting opinions.

True Love doesn't have any rules. Its between two hearts connecting the souls. Gender, age, height, weight, appearance doesn't matter. If they truly love each other they don't find any imperfections, faults in their significant other. Public opinion about their relationship doesn't a matter, they love each other by hearts. Its none of their concern, haters will be haters.

"Baka" Valt furrowed his brows, glaring at the taller male, "You thought I'll just leave you?! Didn't I said I'll always be there for you even if you push me away?"

There was a sense of responsibility in his tone, Valt promised to look after his lover that day, "Push me, slap me, hit me, punch me, do whatever but I won't let you go until the end."
