Evelyn woke up in Marshall's arms. She smiled as she remembered the events that occurred earlier that morning. She got up and gathered her clothes and put them on. Deciding to make waffles as breakfast for her and a treat for Marshall, Evelyn headed down the stairs, eager to get to work. "Now where the hell does he keep the batter? Crap, I hope he has some." she thought to herself. Rummaging through the kitchen, she whooped in triumph when she found a box of pancake batter. "I'm gonna trust this rich white boy has a waffle maker too." More rummaging, and it's found. "Man he has everything." "Yes I do." She jumped at the sound of Marshall's voice. "Don't sneak up on me like that." Evelyn spat. While mixing the batter powder with water she thought to grab some chocolate chips she saw in the refrigerator the previous day.

Pouring them in the batter, Evelyn hesitatingly asked Marshall "I've been thinking, what does this make us now? Am I just another girl that you fucked and who's just passing through your life? Another blob of paint on the portrait of your existence? A comma in a sentence of the book of your being? Or I am I something more? Someone who matters." Marshall looked at her and didn't say anything for a moment, shocked. He finally responded with "What? No. No, of course not. You were my girlfriend from the beginning anyway." Marshall walked up to Evelyn and tried to embrace and kiss her but she backed away.

Setting the bowl of batter down on the counter, she retorted "Now Marshall, I've said this before and I'll say it again for what feels like the millionth time. You know I don't like that 'I took you so now you're my girlfriend, depending on how this goes' bullshit." She paused and was about to continue talking when Marshall cut her off. "Yes, I know how you feel about that, but I thought after everything that just happened that would kinda, you know, seal the deal. You know what I'm sayin'?" Evelyn huffed and tried to keep her patience. "Marshall, I hope you that's not how you think it works. This isn't some stupid romance movie or a porno where you just fuck me senseless and we instantly fall in love."

"Fuck you senseless?" Marshall echoed. "So you think I was good, huh? Yeah? You like this? I know you like all this." Marshall ran his hands all over his body, brushing his member over his jeans and lifting up his shirt and rubbing his abs repeatedly. Evelyn laughed and pushed him playfully saying "Stop it! I hate you." Marshall cracked a smile, replying "Ahh, you say that but you're still laughing."

"Fine, fine, but I'm serious Marshall. I need to know where we stand. Where I stand. I know it might seem maybe a little clingy or whatever, but I need to know." The smile slid off Marshall's face like butter sliding off an overturned plate. Clearing his throat, he put his hands in his pockets and looked down at the shiny, black tile marble floor. "Evelyn...umm. You're not... I really... You're..." Marshall began to laugh after a short silence.

"What is it?" Evelyn inquired, cocking a brow. "It's just, you wouldn't ever think me, of all people, would be at a loss for words. I mean me. The wonderful, omnipotent Eminem. Thee most iconic wordsmith of--" "Marshall." Evelyn cut him off. "You're stalling." He sighed. "I know. Like, I said before I always considered you my girlfriend ever since I...escorted you from your home." Marshall held up a hand to silence her when he saw she was about to interject. "I know how you feel about that, but just hear me out. I did before, and now I consider this as bringing us closer. You know the next step, finalizing it."

Evelyn considered this for a moment, finally replying "Ok. Ok, I'm really glad you feel this way." Evelyn started beaming and spouting out more words like a broken faucet, too much, too fast. "I mean, I was just so nervous that you would just dump me and kick me to the curb like trash. But, you know, I'd fuck shit up before I ever let that happen. Been through that too many times before. There was this one guy I followed over to this skank's house he was "just friends" with and busted out his windows and headlights with a hammer, slashed his tires, and carved my initials all over his car while he was inside with her being the mutt he is. The thing about hammers is all you gotta do is tap on the glass about four or five times and it just sh--."

Marshall silenced her by pulling her in for a deep and passionate kiss. When he ended the kiss by pulling away for air Evelyn began giggling and said "That's a really nice way of telling me to shut up, I think I might be start babbling more often." Marshall began to laugh. "So, the waffles?" "Oh yes the waffles. And you're gonna help me make them." "Good let's do this shit. I'm fucking HUNGRY. I could eat an Evelyn." Marshall grabbed her from behind and slid his hands down her waist, until they were touching--. "HEY. No, no. You did enough of that eating earlier. Later. I'm hungry for real food right now." Marshall pouted "But you are real food. And you taste delicious."

He grabbed her again and started kissing her neck and across her collarbone. "Marshall nooo...." Her rejection dissolved as he kissed deeper and slower, but she snapped out of it when she heard her stomach growl. Pushing away from him, she got serious and said in a firm voice "Ok cut it out. I'm hungry and I know you are too. So let's make the food and then we can do whatever we want afterwards."

Marshall cocked a brow. "Whatever we want?" he repeated. "If I'm in the mood, yes." Marshall picked her up bridal style and spun her around as Evelyn began giggling uncontrollably. He sat her down on the counter and picked up the bowl of batter and whisked at a brisk pace. "It's not a race Marshall." "I know that, but I'm really in the mood to do whatever we want later." Evelyn smiled, rolled her eyes and said "You're a hot mess." Marshall replied with "Yes, but I'm your hot mess."

A/N HI! Please don't hate me for taking so long to update. I had this dumbass testing thing at school which drained me, and then that combined with my procrastination didn't help either. There was a little writer's block in the mix too. But I'm back now and promise to try to never take this long to update ever again. I'm also thinking of changing to the 1st person point of view, and then switching between Marshall and Evelyn's povs, so let me know how you feel about that in the comments below. Wow, that's totally something a Youtuber would say, I feel all professional. And shameless self- promo alert, I have an instagram and a twitter. Both are the same @ as here, @inkedeminem. That's all and til next time y'all, same Bat-channel. I'm out.
