They aren't dating in this but they are in love w each other.

"Are you going to the party?" Vinnie asked
"No" She said into her pillow.
"I'm staying here too." Vinnie laid on her bed.

"What's wrong?" Vinnie asked
"Nothing wdym" She rolled onto her back.
"You never talk anymore" Vinnie rolled on to his back.
"Yes I do....." She mumbled
"I'll be talking to you and it's like you're not even there.." Vinnie said
"I'm sorry" She whispered
"No no no listen I'm trying to ask if you're okay." Vinnie said
"I'm fine just tired" She mumbled
"What's wrong" He asked
She stayed quiet for a minute.
"I'm just so tired" She whispered
Vinnie sat up and grabbed her hand.
"C'mere" Vinnie said pulling on her hand.
She sat up in front of him.
A frown rested on her face.

"You deserve flowers on your doorstep and coffee in the morning. You deserve notes left on your dashboard and ice cream sundaes at 3 a.m. You deserve honesty everyday and to be kissed every hour. You deserve to be reminded how beautiful you are. And if you let me, I'll show you everyday. I promise."
Vinnie kissed her hand.
"But.... I can't do that if you aren't here"

"I do want those things and I want them with you. I just don't know how much more I can take.." She whispered

"Baby listen think about everything you'll miss. Having kids if you want that. Growing old with someone you love. Drinking hot coco in front of the fireplace. All the kisses and hugs you'll miss. I know everything sucks but that's how things are." Vinnie said

Vinnie leaned forward and kissed her cheek. "You do matter and you are loved."

"I love you Vin" She said
"I love you so so much. A life without you would be so dull and empty." Vinnie kissed her but this time on the lips.

"So please please please please talk to me when something hurts." Vinnie said
"I will" She smiled
