Chapter 4

The morning went about the same as the time I got home Luffy busted open my door yelling about food. Zoro was still passed out in his room, Robin was sitting on the outside balcony watching the sunrise and Law was still in his room. When I went to make breakfast I forgot there was no food to make......that's how I ended up in a supermarket with Robin.

"So what are we looking for? Normally in my world you have to go to specific stands to get certain items."

Still walking down the first isle with her hot on my heels I looked at all the selections.

"I just grab what I believe I would need, but your around those two more than I ever am or will be. Your more calm in public then those three so any help you can give me would be fine."

"Hmmmm well luffy will eat anything meat wise or just about anything except veggies. Zoro isn't really picky either but he doesn't indulge in sweets too much. Law is a doctor so he likes healthy food with no bread. I like just about anything as well."

Nodding my head I just started putting items in the cart. I have plenty of seasoning I just need sides and main dishes. Making my way slowly through each isle I grabbed a bunch of veggies from the fresh produce section along with some fruits for snack. I grab probably about fifteen different meats along with a bunch of fish as well for Law. As we made it to the personal items I could feel a bunch of eyes on me. Knowing what it was about I kept my head high and finished my shopping. Robin on the other hand didn't get the hint.

"Why are some people starring at us?" She whispered. "Do they recognize me?"

Shaking my head. "No, they know about me and most of the people in town dont accept that, but because of the government they cant kick me out."

I didnt hear any other questions or responses from her after that, so we continued on. Grabbing two more things of toilet paper along with toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss and other essentials. Robin and I made our way to the check out just as we finally got to the register next I felt more eyes on me, but heavy. Looking up I saw the girl behind the counter was glaring at me so I simply starred back. After a couple seconds she huffed quickly retreating away into the back. I felt Robin shift next to me starring at where she had run off too.

"What did you do?"

"Nothing. She is just a stuck up bitch who's parents probably didnt teach her respect."

"You aren't afraid to give your opinions are you?"

Shrugging I patiently waited for someone to come.

"Yes, I have learned after the past couple years no one is here for my other than myself. If that means I'm harsh to others to protect myself then so be it."

The manager was now coming over to the register once I finished speaking.

"Hello ma'am's is there a problem?"

"No sir, I just wish to purchase my items and leave as soon as possible."

Nodding his head the manager started ringing up everything. After a couple minutes we had the cart filled back up with everything in bags. I paid for everything and grabbed the receipt before just leaving. Once outside and by my car was when Robin started asking the questions.

"So why was half the store starring at you then? Is having powers not a common thing in your world?"

"No, no it isnt." I said very quietly.

She took the hint and dropped the subject to help put the bags in the trunk. The ride back was very quiet with only the sound of the radio playing. Once home Robin formed more hands to help carry the bags in so I could stay in the kitchen and start unpacking. After my focus was done with the bags I fully focused on the house. It was quiet when I walked in which made me uneasy, but now that I could fully focus I can tell no one was here. Turning I saw Robin thought the same so we both moved around the house looking. About fifteen minutes went by before I walked into my room and saw a note. On it was in nice handwriting explaining that the three of them went into the woods going up hill to try and find that light that brought them here. Just below it was rushed writing probably from Luffy saying he was hungry and couldn't wait to eat.
