Two weeks came and went without me seeing Kyle once.

I miss him, a lot.

The day him and Rob left, he pulled me aside and told me to not give up, and I promised him I wouldn't. He gave me one of his chains, and you know boys and their necklaces, and I haven't taken it off once.

Of course, after they left, mom questioned me about what we got up to.

I told her we got to know each other, very well ......

Hehehe

Right now mom and I were shopping in the mall for Christmas gifts. Christmas being two weeks away, I might as well get this out of the way.

Mom and I split up so I could buy her some gifts and her me, and so I walked into a little clothing store, browsing the sections.

My mother has such complex taste in clothes, she always has to be up with the trends while at the same time, looking like a lady "of her age".

I don't know what the fuck that meant, she was only like 39.

"Excuse me," I called out to one of the workers, a girl around my age.

"How can I help you," she spoke sweetly.

I smiled and rolled my eyes. "My mother likes to be..."

"She likes to dress like us?" she asked.

I stared with wide eyes and mouth open.

"Trust me, you aren't the only girl that comes through here with the same question, let me show you something she might like."

I followed the girl through isles and isles of clothes until we made it to the back.

"What's her hair color? Like yours?" she asked, looking up to me.

"Um, yea, except a bit lighter."

The girl pulled out a shirt from the rack along with a skirt.

"She'll love these," she spoke with a smile.

I glanced over the clothing. The shirt was a Gray color and it had long sleeves and a v neck, lace designs on the sleeves and the skirt was a maroon corduroy material with buttons in the front.

I smiled and took them and said my goodbyes to the girl and looked up.

My eyes met crystal blue ones, except he wasn't alone.

He was with a tall skinny girl with sandy brown hair, his arm around the girls waist.

I felt like I had just been kicked in the gut.

Kyle's eyes were wide as he looked down to the girl he was with and snapped back up to me, shaking his head.

But I was already leaving.

Who the fuck did he think he was. He can't just fuck me and move on two weeks later.

I stayed up every night thinking about him and missing him and he was out with other women.

What the fuck ever.

I made my way to the front counter to pay for the gifts and tried to conceal the hurting in my chest.

"Thanks so much," I said to the girl that rang me up and was out of the store.

I looked down at the bags in my hand, specially from the store that I bought Kyle a gift from, and scoffed.

"Jessica!" I heard his deep voice calling after me but I just kept walking. I walked down a hall and into the ladies room and took in a deep breath.
