MafiA HADES mission conclusion
Eleyne walked into the office at Headquarters, taking off a bloodied protective coat, rather refreshingly. Making her way over to Alice and Lia, she stopped short when she heard a voice that made her freeze on the spot. "K Tech sends their regards." Static immediately ensued, and there was no means to fix it. Alice was tightly grabbing on to her desk, gritting her teeth in frustration. "Damn it... K Tech is third partying. We can't afford to waste any more time." She quickly ordered Lia to switch lines, and spoke into the mic. "Krystal, grab the HADES as quickly as you can. Dawn, I'm going to need you to be ready to cause a ruckus in the halls if need be, in case we need to draw attention away from Krystal. Do not waste a single second." Eleyne rushed over, her face still pale after hearing the message. "Wait, what just happened? Was that Yuki's radio?" Lia nodded. "I think she was abducted. Her tracker is moving towards K Tech and her heartbeat is still there." Alice frowned. "At least she's not dead.. Yet. We have no way of knowing if she won't be killed later on." Alice trailed off in thought. Eleyne promptly walked up to the receiver. "We don't have the resources to save her right now. Our reinforcements are already surrounding AG. Continue with the mission. That's top priority." Allion nodded. "That's right. Time is of the essence. There's still the possibility that K Tech might try to do something, and we can't afford to deal with both them and AG. Give it everything you've got, we can't stop now." Dawn and Krystal both responded. "Roger that."
Within minutes, Krystal had secured the weapon and was heading out, while Dawn caused a large distraction on the other end of the building. Dawn remembered something, as she turned around and faced the guard she spoke to earlier that day. "Hey, can I tell you something?" The guard looked at her confused. "Uh, sure?" Dawn smiled and lifted the visor, revealing a face that wasn't recognizable to the guard. "I'm not Ransa." The guard stumbled backwards, genuinely shocked. "But.. how? What happened to Ransa??" Dawn's smile never left her face, as she stretched out her arms. "I happen to have a good friend over at MafiA, who happens to be a pro at gathering intellect from people. As for the current condition of our friend.. Well, I'm sorry to inform you that I have no clue what happened to her. No one really knows what happens to my friend's victims after she gets a hand in interrogating them." Dawn looked down at the cowering figure. "It's about time you rest, don't you think?" With that, she promptly knocked her out. Having done so, Dawn reached over, pulled the fire alarm, and shot off a string of bullets, causing panic to rise within the building.
Combined with Lia's success in faking a power outage, Krystal was able to make a smooth escape. Just as Dawn, too, reached the exit, her path was blocked by a tall figure who pointed a gun at her. "Who are you, and what did you take?" the figure demanded. His voice was warped, purposely changed to conceal his identity. Dawn calmly raised her hands up in surrender. "Well, it seems I got caught. By the way, are you the infamous Dark Knight of the AG?" Dawn asked innocently. The tall figure answered, irritated. "What if I am? Don't avoid my question." In Dawn's ear, HQ whispered silent instructions. "Dawn, reinforcements will be able to take action in about two minutes. Try to stall until they get there." Dawn, her gaze never faltering, began to string out her words. "Well, I'm not exactly anyone important, that's for sure. As for me taking something? Well, that I didn't do, you're wrong." Dawn paused, her expression slowly morphing into a sly smile. "But.. I suppose my teammate did." As soon as the last word rolled off her tongue, reinforcements rushed in, quickly surrounding the Dark Knight and providing Dawn with the chance to leave without a hitch. Just as she passed him by, the Dark Knight noticed a familiar insignia on Dawn's weapon. "MafiA..." He growled in distaste. He looked around and realized his situation, before he looked down and cursed. "Damn it." He threw down a smoke bomb, taking the moment of confusion to escape and regroup.
Dawn and Krystal met up outside, and boarded a helicopter that stood waiting for them on top of a building. Seated and up in the air, the two shared a glance. The corners of their lips itched upwards, smiling and high fiving in celebration. Krystal spoke into her receiver jokingly. "Mission complete, Boss." Dawn added, smiling, "Yes, mission success." Everyone at HQ collectively let out a breath of relief, ridding the tension and smiling. After the moment's distraction, Alice quickly broke away, and started to type away at a computer, sighing. "While our mission is a success, I regret to inform you that we have encountered a large setback. It's unfortunate, but we have lost a key member in our group." Everyone fell silent, and Alice continued. "It appears she is at K Tech, but at this point, it may very well be possible that they're leaving her trackers there as bait. It's highly possible- no scratch that, it's certain that they moved her someplace else." Lia sighed in frustrated defeat. "There is no way I can complete this weapon without her. Despite what we thought, that thing doesn't look like it's all that finished either; it'll be impossible for me to do it alone." "I'm afraid we're in quite the predicament. We will have to risk taking a wild guess as to where Yuki is located, otherwise we will face an inevitable defeat," Eleyne replied grimly. "I guess... you could call it MafiA's Gamble."
