K Tech's proposal

Yuki sat up slowly, her eyes still drowsy from the sleeping. From the other side of the wall, Ley's room, she could hear the cause of her awakening. Muffled voices were leading a conversation, and Yuki silently got up from the bed, quietly making her way over to the wall, and putting her ear up against it. She hoped to be able to listen in, relieved when she realized she could. "..'re in quite the predicament, don't you agree? After all, I've got MafiA's infamous Codebreaker in my grasp... As for Shadow Fang, you old geezer, as AG's leader, I'm sure you're just itching to resolve some past, unfinished business between our groups, right?" A sly smile began to form on Ley's face, and he continued. "As the admin of the Black Market, I am under the impression that you both know that I'm well aware of MafiA's recent 'raid'. All the more reason to seek vengeance, right Shadow Fang?" A snarling, angered voice replied. "So what of it, Puppeteer? What are you after?" Ley's smile only widened at the question. "Why, I'm so glad you asked! You see, it appears we all have some conflicts piled up against each other.. so why not settle it once and for all? I am formally proposing a three way war."

Yuki was shocked thrice, once by the statement, twice by Ley's identity and the third when she heard Alice's voice respond. "And what about you? What can you gain from all of this?" Ley chuckled, a devious glint in his eyes. "Why, it's all for entertainment. What more can I ask for? Besides, once I win this war, it will simply place K Tech at the top of the Underground." Shadow Fang growled out his response, anger and poison lacing his words. "I don't know what you're planning, but I'll have you know one thing. This time around, I'm going to beat you at your own game." "Hmm? Is that so? I would genuinely like to see you try." Ley paused, his amused expression never leaving his face. "And what about you, Poker Princess? What sort of bet will you be offering me this time?" On the other end, Alice scoffed in distaste. "You never do fail to amuse me, Puppeteer. While I hate playing your little games, I'm sure you already know my answer to your question, being the way you are." She paused, and when Ley didn't bother to confirm, she promptly answered for him. "Of course I'm going all in." Ley laughed loudly, clearly pleased with the way things were taking place. "Well then, if that's the case, let the games begin."

Yuki's eyes widened. An all out war? "This is crazy!" she muttered under her breath. Turning back to the wall, she began to viciously bang her hands against it. Forcing her voice to be louder, she started to cry out. "Boss! I'm here! I'm fine, so don't worry about saving me!" Hearing footsteps approaching her door, she stopped and gulped nervously, feeling beads of sweat forming at the back of her neck. Yuki convinced herself that she would be fine, no matter what came her way. She was content in simply knowing that Alice must have been able to verify that she was okay. The door swung open on its hinges, revealing Ley and his grim, somber expression. She backed away nervously, bracing for the worst, and then stopped short. Ley's expression had suddenly broken out into a small half smile. "Excellent work, you reacted just as I planned. Now that they know you are alive, they should be more desperate to save you before it's too late." Yuki paled, something that was like understanding but not flashing across her face. What? Had he purposely held the call in his room, anticipating her reaction? Having said his bit, Ley swiftly turned around and left, not bothering to look back as he called out, "Oh, and if you wanted breakfast, make it yourself."
