Chapter 15: Truth or Dare

"Tobi. Is. A. Good. Boy." as Tobi giggled, squirming while being bent over Hidan's strong shoulder. "Tobi-senpai! Kyuu-san is also a good boy!" Kyuu whined at Tobi, face flushed, wiggling his legs while being carried by Hidan's other arm. "URUSAI!" Hidan snapped, very irritated with the two wasted men. "I swear to Jashin I'm gonna fucking sacrifice you two shitheads one day!" he hissed at them. He had to drag and carry them home; they were too drunk and made a scene in the bar they were in. The two thoughtlessly exposed their ninja skills- water bending for Kyuu and body flicker technique for Tobi, which made the ladies they were flirting with, freaked out.

"Hidan-san is a bad boy!" Tobi mindlessly teased which made Hidan's eyes twitched. "Shut up Tobi or I'll fucking bury you here!" he yelled, scaring the shit out of Tobi. It was almost 4 in the morning when they reached the base. Hidan kicked the door opened and walked inside the living room; literally tossed Tobi and Kyuu on the couch. The two limp bodies landed on each couch, which made Kyuu throw up, 'Ugh.' Hidan's thoughts as his face turned sour watching Kyuu hurled. He climbed the stairs and walked straight to his door and halted as he grabbed his door knob; he looked at Minah's door. He stared blankly at the door for a while, until he heard a clicking sound. 'Shit' in his thoughts. Minah's door was slowly opening so he rushed inside his own room, trying to avoid her. He sighed in relief as soon as he heard footsteps walking away. 'It must be her, checking for the two dumb shits' in his thoughts. He took a quick shower and jumped into his bed; he was too tired after walking and carrying two people so he immediately fell asleep.

"Tobi's head! Tobi's hurt!" Tobi groaned as he held his head upon waking up. Minah, from the kitchen, walked towards him. It was already 11 in the morning, "Here Tobi-kun" as she handed him a small white pill for hang-over and a glass of water. Minah sat beside him and rubbed his back as he chugged on his water. Soon Kyuu rose up from the couch next to them, "Itai~..." he groaned as he felt his head throbbed in pain. "Good morning." said Minah, greeted him with soft tone. "Ugh...Morning." he whimpered. "Had a great night out?" Minah teased as she handed him a pill and a glass of water just like Tobi. He just groaned and took the pill then laid his back at the back pillows. He felt a little chilly and he realized he was stripped off of his top; he quickly looked at Minah who didn't seem to mind. "Minah- senpai. Where's my shirt?" he hesitantly asked. "Oh that." she said as she picked up the glasses and went back to the kitchen. "You reeked of hurl so I had to wash your top. Others will start picking on you if they found you in such condition." Kyuu's face flushed, "Oh...thanks I guess." he said as he looked away, a little bit embarrassed. "Does your arm still hurt?" she asked, pointing on the white bondage wrapped around Kyuu's left upper arm. His body has fully recovered from their battle but his left arm was still covered with bondage. "Oh this. Not at all" Kyuu said as he eyed his left arm, "This is like my lucky charm. It became a habit wrapping my arm like this." he said tapping the bondage over his arm. Minah just cocked her eyebrows and didn't ask any more questions.

Days passed and Kyuu got his own room next to Minah's, with the help of Pein's almighty push jutsu and earth-style release of Deidara; they also built their infirmary beside the living room, for Kyuu to work on when his not in a mission. Kakuzu nagged about the expenses for the medical equipment in the infirmary since he was the treasurer, but couldn't do anything about it since it was Pein's order. Hidan seemed to handle his emotional issues with Minah pretty well now and continued bringing women at the base. He and Minah didn't talk since then and Minah seemed to grow closer with Deidara, though they really weren't sure what to call their relationship. 'Very close friends', that's how they best describe their connection. Tobi's birthday came up and Pein took this opportunity to have their "retreat" since all the members had missions after mission these past few months; everyone deserves a break once in a while. It took days before they convinced Kakuzu to approve this trip; he agreed to this 3-day rest in a hot spring resort nearby the beach found in the Land of the Sea, under his one strict condition- one big room for all. Take it or leave it, that was his condition. He was concerned about the room fee if they had to rent a room for each member. One big room would be enough for them all, he thought.
