The whooshing air filled his head as he laid on the cold, wet ground. He had woken hours ago but he didn't, no, couldn't find the energy to move himself. He was tired, so so very tired that he just wanted to stop breathing all together. He didn't deserve to breath. Not after what he had done. He had taken so many lives before that he had been used to the blood on his hands. He was praised for it, and something, he liked it.
It washed the pain of his father's death away. It washed the pain of never having known his mother. It washed the pain of having HIM die right in front of him.
But now all of that was washed away. In one single moment any happiness he felt for even the tiniest thing had died, and he couldn't bear it. His heart couldn't bear it.
He shivered and a shivering breath escape his mask. He was sure he was turning blue but he didn't care enough to check. He didn't deserve that luxury because he had killed HER.
The one that he was supposed to protect for the rest of his life. He had made a promise and he not only failed but he was the one that killed her. The thought... was a bitter pill to swallow but it was his truth; his reality. There was no ending where he could be happy and with this he finally saw that.
His breath began to hitch. He knew he was hyperventilating even though the rest of his face and body hung lazily. Cold air touched his lungs and he shivered once more. The entire back of his body had gone numb already but he could still feel the cold pricking his skin and the more he laid there the more it would hurt.
His one open eye began to close and he could feel his consciousness beginning to slip; and he would let it. He deserve to live after what he had just done. He could only think of a single thought before his eye closed completely.
Obito.

Kakashi gasped, his right eye shooting open and his body shot straight up as he breath in and out. Where am I? He wondered finally gaining his senses. He felt warm and a thick cover laid across his legs. He smelled the burning of wood and it's radiating heat and turned to his right, seeing a crackling fire inside a fireplace.
"You awoke now?"
Kakashi's head swiveled behind him and his eyes landed on an individual who was sitting down and leaning on the wood-made wall behind him. Kakashi knew he was a warrior before he had even seen the sheath sword on his hips. His sharp eyes and calm demeanor gave it away. It seemed that he would be an ideal Shinobi, no perhaps he already was. Kakashi looked slightly above the man and saw snow dropping past the window outside.
It was snowing.
"Who are you? Where am I?"
The man only kept staring. It had taken him some time to finally answer the Ninja's question but he did. "This is a cabin on Mt. Sagiri. What were you doing laying in snow without the appropriate clothes on for this type of weather. You would've died had I not stepped in to save you."
Kakashi turned his entire body to the man and looked at him dead in the eye. "My weapons; you took them. Where are they?"
He pointed to the wall behind Kakashi. "It's right behind you. I have no intention on stealing your items. I just wanted to make sure you would not cut yourself had you moved in the wrong way while sleeping."
