Jay has his head cushioned by your lap as you watch his favorite show, Pororo. He loves the way the characters bobble around and how childish it is. You are happy to watch whenever he wants; his reaction to every little action is adorable and you quite enjoy the show yourself.
"Can you give me the blanket from the armrest, please?" Jay asks, pointing to where your arm was.
"What a shame, I was just about to use it! Maybe you can convince me."
"Y/n-ah! I'm not doing aegyo!" he fake scolds.
"It was worth a shot," you sigh and wrap him up in the blanket.
You take extra care in making sure it covers his whole body and tuck the top into his hands.
"Thank you," he mutters with a smile, getting sleepy.
"Jay, you can't fall asleep now, we promised to go hang out with the boys," you remind him, tucking his hair behind his ear.
"Can I just nap for a minute, jagi?"
With a deep sigh, you finally agree.
"Don't get mad when I wake you up."
"I would never!"
"Why did you wake me up, Y/n! I was having such a good dream!" Jay whines.
"You said you wouldn't get mad at me! Besides, we were almost going to be late. Come on, I'll grab your stuff for you," you reply.
He holds his arms out, asking to wrap his arms over your shoulders, meaning you will basically be carrying him.
"You're lucky I love you, Jay," you tease, rolling your eyes.
The two of you walk a few blocks down to meet up with Heeseung, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Riki. Jay's feet drag nearly the entire time from being so sleepy.
"Stay awake, Jay, we're almost there now," you whisper in his ear and hold his hand to keep him standing.
Riki had recommended a Japanese restaurant nearby for you all to meet up at. He complained about how much he missed Japanese food for seven minutes before you just hung up on him.
"Up, up," you mutter, putting your hand under his chin. "Wake up."
There is only one open table in the restaurant that will seat you all. It is nested in the one corner of the restaurant with windows on either wall. Perfect for pictures together. Riki orders five plates full of his childhood favorites. You order a tray of a variety of sushi rolls for you and Jay to share.
These are some of the best rolls you ever had. Everyone stuffs their mouths full of as much food as they can. Not only are they some of the best sushi rolls ever, but it is overall one of the best meals you had ever had. You are surrounded by amazing people you love and the food is absolutely perfect.
Jay is awake and alert now, joking and laughing with the other boys. Every now and then you will feel a little out of place with the group, but they always find a way to cheer you up. Sunoo is your best friend in the group.
"I take it that you're liking your food, Y/n?" he asks with an endearing eye smile.
"Yes, very," you reply, rapidly chewing in order to get the words out.
"That's good. Jay seems to feel the same," Sunoo continues, pointing a chopstick at Jay, who is closing his eyes while absolutely devouring his last two sushi rolls. "Jay, you better slow down before you get sick!" Sunoo teases.
Jay immediately freezes and shoots a teasing glare to Sunoo, who laughs and collapses into your arm. Since you are in the middle of eating, you hurry to cover your mouth with your hand as you giggle quietly. Jay pouts and swiftly positions his left arm around your shoulder, tugging slightly to bring you closer to him.
"No, no, Sunoo," he scolds.
Sunoo nearly explodes in his chair.
"You two are so cute!" he exclaims and takes a photo of you two.
