Double Trouble

The day started of normally. The gang had just returned to the castle after saving a nearby town from a demon attack when a storm broke out...

The windows and doors were shield shut. All the lanters and candles were lit and there was a cosy fire made in the library.

All three were busy with their own thing.

Trevor was in the kitchen, obviously looking for beer. Even after the many times Alucard had told him that there wasn't any.

Said half vampire was reading a book, snuggled under a blanket infront of the fire.

Sypha, had gotten permission from Alucard to look through his mother's studie.

POV : Sypha

Finding the studie was no problem thanks to Alucard.

Opening the doors and lightening the place up; I was amazed at how big it was. The walls stacked with notes and drawings.

Alucard's mother must have drawn these. I wonder if he can draw as beautifully as she can.

Reaching out I picked up one of the herb notes that had fallen on the floor. I am by no means an artist, but even I could tell that her line work and shading were accurate.

Putting the drawing down; I looked up and spotted books neatly stacked before me. Walking closer, I saw several different books about spells.

What would a herbalist want with magic? Didn't Alucard say she was a docter?

Out of curiosity, I picked one up and scanned through the pages.

Spells in almost every language, I couldn't read everything but bits and pieces stood out. Most of them were healing spells. One spell, however had caught my eye. I just had to test it, and I knew exactly who to test in on...

POV:No one

Trevor was sulking at the dining table when an eager speaker magician barged in the room.

Lifting his head to look at her; he nearly threw up at the happy look she was giving him.

"What the fuck are you so happy about?"

She walked over to him and slammed the open book infront of him. When his eyes landed on the page before him, his eyes nearly jumped out of their sockets.

"No! No way in HELL is that happening!"  "Oh come on Trevor, aren't you the least bit curious?" "Curious to find out what would happen when you split my body in two?! No fucking thank you" "Well don't say it like that, you sound like you'd be teard apart. The spell will only make a double of you, come on. Just imagen how happy Alucard will be~"

At the half breads name, Trevor blushed. He has been in love with the man , since he can remeber, he just didn't want to say anything in fear if rejection. Finding comfort in exclaiming his thoughts to Sypha. 

"That- I'm still not doing it" Sypha sighed. "Fine. Will you help me if I go out and bring you beer?" Trevor pirked up and smirked nearly agreeing when he remember the storm outside. "No way. It's to dangerous." Sypha rolled her eyes."No worries, a few day ago I learned a teleporting spell. The problem is, I can only teleport one person at a time right now and it takes up a lot of ny energy, so If I teleport to the nearest town, I would have to stay the night before I can teleport back. "

Trevor looked sceptical, but agreed, knowing damn well that if Sypha was in trouble she could take care of herself.

Following Sypha up the stair way, they passed the library where Alucard was still busy reading, he looked up from his book and spotted a satisfied Sypha leading the way past the library and a gloomy Trevor following her.
