"You... are Crimson Death... correct?"

It was a male's voice.

"That's me."

"Perfect... there's someone I'd like you to kill."

She raised a brow, smiling as she leant forward, Karasuma eying her cautiously.

"Do tell... but first... who's talking?"

"I assume you've heard of the Shie Hassaikai... this is their leader, Overhaul, speaking."

"Are you sure this is a good idea, Rie?"

A black-clad man gazed in the rear-view mirror at the female in the back.

"I'm Japan's highest-ranked Villain, I can easily deal with a Yakuza boss, can't I?"

The said man sighed, hanging his head in annoyance as he clicked his tongue, staring forward at the road in front of him.

"That's... not what I'm worried about."

The female sighed, her golden orbs bearing into his back.

She wore a dark purple cloak, the hood covering her eyes as she hummed, gazing outside. A black belt coiled around her waist, a dagger on one side and a small taser on the other.

"So then... what are you worried about?"

The man didn't respond, the car ride remaining silent.

She fished out her phone, humming as her phone started to ring.

"You're still a teenager," he muttered, "you shouldn't be in this situation..."

"Hello?"

"You accepted the mission, I take it?" a male voice floated through.

"Yeah," she responded blankly, listening as he sighed deeply, "Karasuma told me about the conditions."

"You understand them, I take it?" he raised a brow.

"Yes, sir."

"Good," she heard the shuffling of papers on his end, "stay safe, Rie."

"Bye," she hung up.

"Who was it?" Karasuma glanced over, "two minutes 'til we arrive."

"Aizawa, he just wanted to double-check whether or not you told me the conditions under which I could continue killing people."

The butler sighed, deadpanning.

"Please don't word it like that."

The ride was silent, the girl watching as they pulled up to a building.

The girl frowned, exiting the car as Karasuma bowed slightly.

"Stay safe... Crimson."

Her back turned, raising her hood as she entered the gates.

Instantly, she drew the attention of four members who lay about, chatting insolently. Letting out a cry, they lunged at her, activating their Quirks. Annoyed, Rie drew out her sword.

"Too slow and too annoying," she muttered, slashing them as they crumpled, "oops... I've made a mess of the pavement."

"The boss won't be too happy about that..." slow applause came from the entrance of the hall, the female furrowing her brows as she stood, "I see he's chosen a suitable new member..."

"Hah?" she raised a brow incredulously, standing slowly as she racked her pistol, pointing it at the male, "'member'? I'm not here to join your little group, he called me."

"Oh, so then you must be..." he racked his brain, "Crimson Death, right?"

"Took you long enough," she scowled, staring back down at the members behind her.

"Don't worry about them, if they can be killed by you, then they're weak," he hummed. The girl raised a brow, slinging it warily onto her belt.

He was a large, muscular man with long, light brown hair. Like most of the other members, she assumed, he wore a plague mask, donning a tattered shirt and dark bants with two belts. Two gloves encased his hands, with metal knuckles on his hands as they formed fists.

"Where's Overhaul?" she questioned.

"He's currently... working on his plan," the man explained, "I'm Rappa, by the way... the boss has good eyes."

"Good eyes?" the assassin raised a brow, "meaning?"

"You're a good mercenary."

"Mer-I'm an assassin," she stared.

"Same thing," he waved a hand, the girl furrowing her brows in distaste.

"I don't like you."

"Funny, I don't like you either." He turned the corner. "Here is your room, the boss will speak to you shortly."

"A room, huh? How courteous," she sneered, "didn't think you Yakuza were capable."

"I'd watch your tongue if I were you," snapped Rappa, "you may be Japan's worst Villain, but you're in enemy territory now, the boss'll be sure to-"

"That's enough, Rappa," a low voice sighed, a figure standing against the doorframe, "I'll take it from here."
