"Overhaul?"

"It's time for Eri's bath," he spoke, "follow me."

"'Bath'?" echoed the girl, lowering her phone as she ended the call, giving the Yakuza boss a quizzical glance, "now?"

It was only two minutes after lunch had ended.

"Yes... we need to cleanse her of the Hero Syndrome," he spoke simply, the girl sweat-dropping, muttering his words under her breath. She gazed over at the girl, who was suddenly extremely obedient, nodding meekly as she hopped off the girl's lap and stumbled to him, clutching onto his leg. She raised a brow at her peculiar behaviour, that's new... Eri's clinging to Overhaul like he's her lifeline or something... she's terrified of him, isn't she?

"Why do I..."

"I want you to be there."

He wants me to be there when he's giving her a bath...?

Nonetheless, she picked Eri up, noting how tight her grip was on her cloak.

"Eri?"

She shook her head, burrowing her head into her neck. Rie frowned, gazing forward as they walked down the corridor, the girl's grip growing tighter as they headed further into the hideout.

"Now, be a good girl, Eri, and take a seat," he stated gently, though his voice was laced with poison. The assassin set the girl down as the girl sat in the chair, her face falling as Chisaki activated his Quirk.

She remained silent, watching stoically.

Her emotions, however, were a different story.

Dread started to settle in, the girl wondering just what she had gotten into.

She blinked, staring at the child as her bandages were unravelled, her eyes widening as she watched her willingly sit in the chair. Her golden orbs watched as Chisaki took off his glove, stating that if Eri was a good girl, maybe he'd go easy on her. Horrifying cracks began to resonate in her ears as she tried her hardest to remain stoic at the sight of the girl's limbs being quite literally ripped apart from her body, and yet Eri looked as if she was used to this... 'bath'.

How much longer?

How long had Eri been suffering and subjecting to these fates?

How many scars did she have?

How many times did she fight back before learning that 'no, it wasn't alright to fight back'?

These questions flooded her mind as she carried a strangely quiet Eri to her room, laying her down and changing her bandages, though the child initially cowered away from her and hid her scars from the teenager's view despite her reassuring her she wasn't going to be mad, hesitantly stretching them out as she instead caressed them with a small yet grim smile.

"What... exactly is your goal?" she questioned quietly as to not wake the girl.

The man shot her a glare, the girl stiffening as he exhaled.

"Rewinding a person's time," he began, "that's Eri's Quirk. With her Quirk, she could rewind a person back to the time when they were monkeys. Of course, I haven't told her about this, and I expect you to not do that either."

"W-why?"

"Why should I?" he questioned simply, the girl falling silent, "this world needs to be returned to back when everything was normal, to when society wasn't so obsessed with Quirks... I want to revive the Yakuza and revive their former glory..."

He turned to her.

"And to do that, I need your help."
