You stared at Itto. You couldn't possibly believe anything that the Tenryou Commission soldier said. Yoimiya is dead. The cheerful, energetic girl who ran the firework shop died.
'Y-Yoimiya??' you cried. You saw her body infront of the Hatamoto and Okuzumeshuu. She was brutally hurt and looked like she was grabbing for dear life.
Itto immediately got angered. He charged at the soldiers.
'YOU LITTLE-' he yelled, trying to avenge Yoimiya, but the soldiers charged at him and began to arrest him.
'Please, just stop!' you yelled at the top of your lungs.
'I agree. Take her instead,' replied the Okuzumeshuu agressively. Your eyes widened at the response and as they let Itto go and grabbed you by the wrists. Your Electro Vision shocked you as you turned to Itto, who was about to charge for an attack.
'I'm sorry, sir, but you're going to have to leave the scene,' said a Doushin, to which Itto replied with 'THAT IS MY GIRLFRIEND, AND YOU IDIOTS WON'T DO A THING TO HER!!!'
All you remembered after that was you being dragged to a dark cell. It looked comfortable enough, you supposed.
'Any queries as to why you are in here, Chiyumi?' asked a Hatamoto.
'I-I don't know what me or Yoimiya did..' you sighed.
'Well, you and Miss Naganohara were said accomplices to Arataki Itto's escapade to Natlan. Need I say more?'
You glared at him.
'I-It wasn't me or Yoimiya, I-'
'Well, the Kamisato siblings and their fixer wouldn't do such acts.'
You didn't protest, and accepted defeat. You looked at the Hatamoto once more, and blurted out a question.
'Will I be able to see anyone..?'
'Arataki Itto and the Yashiro Commission are prohibited from seeing you. Nor can your cousin from the Shuumatsuban can see you.'
You sighed irritatedly, but a felt a sense of relief when realising that Sayu can break in through windows.
'I suppose I can live with that...not' you replied, mumbling the word not.
You were happy that Sayu could see you, but how were you going to put up not having Itto by your side? It was like Fontaine all over again.
A couple hours later, you got out of your cell to have dinner. All the people you saw were in there for horrible crimes such as fighting/assault or thievery. Yet you, you were innocent. You were never an accomplice. Neither was Yoimiya. And you will find the distortionist who twisted the truth.
You ate in silence as the others argued about having a shorter sentence, or how terrible the conditions are, et cetera. You were never given your sentence. You were just..arrested.
The moment you returned to your cell, you dropped onto your bed and lay there for 15 minutes, until seeing a shadow near your cell.
Kujou Sara.
You rose from your bed and went up to your barricaded door.
'What are you doing here, Kujou Tengu?'
'Tch. The Oni's put a terrible influence on your actions, seeing how you've also coined the nickname he gave me,' said Sara smugly, 'I suppose your planned arrest was deserved~.'
'Oh? So you're the one who started all this? You wanted to get me from the start? You murdered Yoimiya?!' you yelled.
'I never murdered Yoimiya, it was the Okuzumeshuu, and yes, your arrest was planned ever since I saw you hanging out with Arataki. I wasn't going to let you become a stupid gang member who falls onto their knees and worship the ground the Crimson Oni walks on. It was for your safety, and the safety of Inazuma.'
'Firstly, the Arataki Gang are not at all like that, and secondly, why did the Okuzumeshuu kill Yoimiya?'
'Yoimiya was originally supposed to get arrested like you, but she refused. And a rather strong-willed soldier did what he did. And I didn't know actually what to take you in for, until I witnessed your father taking you and Itto to Ritou in order to set sail for Natlan. And yes, it is true, I witnessed the Pyro Archon confront the Shogun to let you both go. I then thought that this would be a perfect way to teach Arataki Itto a lesson. By taking away the person he loved most,' explained Sara, smiling devilishly.
You were lost for words. How can someone have so much hatred? That was a question that had no answer. And the only way to recieve one is through a duel. And thus, you and the adopted daughter of the Kujou Clan faught. She shot arrows infused with Electro energy whilst you casted the spells of Elemental Mastery. And as Sara drew her bow you used up your entire power and struck her down mercilessly. She fell on her knees and looked at you angrily. That, was when you heard footsteps.
The Raiden Shogun was right before your eyes.
She, who gave you your vision.
'Sara, you do not want to lose, do you?' Shogun asked calmly.
'Of course not..!' she replied.
'Well then, I'll expell Chiyumi myself. With the Musou no Hitotachi.'
You shuddered and took a step back. Every prisoner was looking through their cells and admiring the electric flare of a battle infront of them.
'So you intend on killing me? Good luck!' you yelled at the Archon. Shogun drew the sword out from her chest and glanced at you, tension filling the room.
'I regret handing you a Vision..but there's absolutely no going back, right? The only way I can take it away is by using it against you.'
Her sword shimmered with Electro energy and rose to the sky.
'Introducing..the Musou no Hi-huh?'
Fishes made out of Hydro energy shot and splashed at Shogun. Everyone looked to the side.
'Sangonomiya Kokomi,' Shogun sighed angrily.
'You may be the Archon of Inazuma, but the acts you do, the way you treat the citizens here, it is simply not right. Chiyumi and Yoimiya have done nothing wrong, and all your doing is promoting false accusation, Ei,' Kokomi stated confidently.
You turned towards Kokomi and she smiled.
'Don't fret, you are free now. Come with me to Watatsumi Island with Mr Arataki. You can come to the Sangonomiya Shrine and we'll find you both a house at Bourou Village.'
You agreed to this offer and walked with Kokomi back into the city.
The first thing you thought of was to go to the Arataki Gang headquarters. As you did, you saw Itto talking with Guuji Yae outside Yae Publishing House.
'-yeah sure, but-Chiyumi?! You-you were released!!! Oh, yes!! Me and Guuji Yae were talking about what to do when we move to Watatsumi Island. Do we worship Orobaxi or the Shogun, yknow that stuff.'
'Forget the Archons, forget gods. We'll figure it out when we get to Sangonomiya Shrine,' you said peacefully.
After a short conversation with Yae Miko, you, Itto and Kokomi all went to say your goodbyes to the Yashiro Commission. They were quite sad you were leaving, and Ayaka even shed a tear. You were sad, too, but happy that you were going to start a new, happy life with Itto. Then you said your goodbyes to Shinobu and the gang, and to Itto's grandmother as well.
And thus, began your new life on Watatsumi Island.

'See, Sojiro? You've always asked me how we Narukami folks ended up on Watatsumi Island.'
