When reaching Watatsumi Island, Kokomi took you both to the Sangonomiya Shrine and offered you some of the island's delicacies. They were all kinds of seafood. Kind of like the Yue Cuisine you had at Xinyue Kiosk.
'So, now that we've escaped the Shogunate, we are now at peace. I am glad that you decided to live on Watatsumi Island,' stated Kokomi happily.
'Yeah, like it was for the better of us, especially my thunderbolt right here,' Itto replied. You blushed. He hasn't called you thunderbolt in a long time.
'Aww! Your relationship with Chiyumi is adorable. Anyways, the samurai have noted the citizens that you are infact a good Oni and wouldn't want to cause any harm, and I'm aware that General Gorou went to Narukami Island to see you both?' Kokomi asked.
'Sure did. Anyways, where's our house in the village?' you said, questioning Kokomi.
'Well, firstly I was going to just tell what is what on Watatsumi Island, if that's ok.'
'Go for it, Divine Priestess!' Itto yelled.
'Alright! Where the Statue of the Seven is right now, there was Mouun Shrine, a place dedicated to our god Orobaxi. Somewhere east of the island is Suigetsu Pool, down south of the island is Bourou Village, and right now you're at Sangonomiya Shrine.'
That..was a very detailed explanation of what's where. But what else did you expect of the literal leader of Watatsumi Island? You looked through the window and saw a pool of water, fading from a turquoise colour to pitch black.
'Kokomi, what is that?' you asked, pointing at the water.
'Ah! Yes, that, it is known as Enkanomiya. It is where our ancestors hailed before Orobaxi guided them to land.'
You smiled at Kokomi. You never heard anything about this ''Orobaxi'' before, but you weren't going to question it. Perhaps Orobaxi is...the Serpent on Yashiori Island?
'Alright, so, Koko, are we gonna know where our house is now?' Itto asked cheerfully but also pridefully.
'Ah, yes! It's just..there,' Kokomi said, pointing at a rather small house that looked comfortable.
When entering your house, you saw how nice it was on the inside. It was..perfect. Itto thought it was perfect, too. But..there is something missing to it. All the furniture is in place, there's the two, but there's one more thing they needed. Not either one of them knew exactly what.
After snapping out of that feeling of loneliness, you and Itto decided to take a stroll on the west of the island, to check out Mouun Shrine. You didn't know where it was until you heard Itto say: 'Oh, damn. The shrine is in shambles!'
That's when you diverted your attention to a ruined shrine infront of you.
It was, like Itto said, in shambles. It didn't even look like a shrine. It looked like a building that sunk into the earth. You investigated it before concluding that it wasn't at all interesting, so you went back to the village.
'The village is sweet n all, but it doesn't have that liveliness of Inazuma City. I kinda miss it, and the gang, too,' Itto sighed.
'We can see if perhaps Shinobu could visit? I doubt Ayaka, Ayato, Thoma and Sayu could visit. They *are* Yashiro Commission people, so they must be busy,' you replied.
A Sangonomiya Samurai then approached you both. It was the same samurai that Itto yelled at back then.
'Hello, my name is Satoshi. I am, infact, the samurai who accused you of doing no good back when you were uh..sightseeing. I apologise for the inconvenience. Enjoy your stay at Bourou Village.'
You looked at the samurai for a split second and then told him that General Gorou came and apologised on his behalf on Narukami Island. Satoshi felt a bit disappointed that the general had to come on his behalf to a completely different island, but rest assured, Itto forgave him, and so did you.
As you went back home, you realised what you wanted. And so did Itto.
A little Oni running around with joy, so happy with life.
'Itto, what would you think of having a small Oni in the house?' you asked.
He got flustered, 'W-well..why not?'(9 months later)
And that's when little Arataki Sojiro came into the world on April 14th. He was an adorable little Oni with your hair and Itto's eyes..and horns.
He grew up as a joyful little boy who ran around everywhere, just like they wanted.
Soon later, when he was 4, his baby sister was born, Arataki Tsubasa, on September 23. She was a Crimson Oni with Itto's hair and your eyes. They were both absolute angels.
'Itto, it's nice that now, we're living a happy life, with happy children. I hope that we can stay together till the very end,' you said, tears forming slowly.
'Me too, Chiyumi. And it all just started from me saving you from a bunch of punks..'
You embraced Itto and he embraced you, and you both had a moment of true love.
'Guys!!!!!!! Tsubasa's m-missing!' Sojiro cried, running to you and Itto.
'What?!' you yelled.
'But..how, kid?' asked Itto.
'Ok, uh..she just disappeared! Like I was staring at her and then she went to a corner..I followed her and she wasn't there!'
You, Itto and your son traveled around the whole island, yet no signs of Tsubasa.
She was gone. From your life, your husband's, and your son's.
That was something that probably hit harder for you than Yoimiya's death.
Sooner or later, your family got over Tsubasa, and lived normally. So did you. You worked as an herbalist, and made medicine for the samurai, Itto being one of them, and your son went to school. That is, infact, how Arataki Itto became a part of your life.
He was your Oni prince, and you were the Oni's princess..In the future, Sojiro found Tsubasa. She worked as a Tenryou Commission soldier.
Not the best twist of events..especially since their parents had drama going on with the Kujou Clan..heh.
