Lexi's POV:

I walked away and didn't look back but I could tell he was watching me. As I got closer to the others they were all dancing around the pool but I wasn't in the mood to party.
'In gonna go to you room and sleep, I've got the worst headache, it that alright?' I told daisy who just nodded and didn't seem to know i was crying.

I got up to her bedroom and cocooned myself in her duvet. I sat by the window and watched the others. Brooklyn was there with them, having fun. I wished I was with him. But there's no dating just Brooklyn there's only dating Brooklyn Beckham.

Was I ready for that? I would be pretty much famous. Everyone would get involved in our relationship. Even though I liked him, I could risk it. I just want to be friends.

I rested my head against the window and felt my eye lids start to get heavy. Before I knew it I was sound asleep.

Brooklyn's POV:

I joined the others when I saw Lexi had left. I went through everything that happened through my head and wondered what I did wrong. I couldn't think of anything.

The other we're still party and I joined in to cheer myself up. It worked till I saw Lexi staring out the window at us. I stayed with the other until I saw she had fell asleep. I curled out on a sun bed out side and drifted off to sleep.

*morning*

I was one of the first to wake up. As I got my head together and put back the pieces of what happened last night, I stood up and stretched.

From the corner of my eye I say Lexi come outside. I cleared my throat and went up to her. Just as I was about to speak she said
'Brooklyn, can we just be friends'
I was slightly heart broken but also relived that she wasn't going to be out of my life. I smiled to the ground.
'I'd like that'

*next day - skipping the morning ect*

Lexi's POV:

I'd been texting Brooklyn non stop since we met. We were already so close. He was one of my best friends. My phone beeped. It was Brooklyn. "hey, I'm bored af, wanna meet" I text back straight away "sure watcha one do?"

I rushed to start touching up my makeup and hair. Brooklyn replied "cinema in 10?" I texted back a smiling face then ran down stairs.
'Dad can you take me to the cinema' you asked
'Sure' he said grabbing his keys.

*skip car ride*

I got out the car and Brooklyn was no where to be found. I wait for 5 minuets then saw him walk up.
'Brooke' I shouted and ran up to him and wrapped my arms around him.
'Missed me' he smirked hugging me back.
'Nah not really' I joked.
He laughed.
'What are we going to see' I asked
'Annabel' he replied. I stopped in my path.
'I hate horror films' I whinged.
'Come on, I really want to see it and I'm here, I'll protect you' he said with a cheeky wink. I laughed.
'Fine but if she come after us in leaving you to fight her off while I run to Mexico' I joked.
'Deal' he said while shaking my hand.
'I'll go buy the tickets' he said
'Wait' I said while pulling him back.
'This isn't a date I'll pay for mine' I continue.

We went to get our tickets, popcorn and a drink then made our way into the cinema. We sat at the back and to the side so no one would notice Brooklyn.

Every time there was a scary but I would have a little heart attack and Brooklyn couldn't stop laughing.
'Shut up, you knew I was scared' I joked and playfully hit him.

*after the movie*

'I going to sue you for emotional terror' I said.
'I pretty sure that's not a thing. He replied.
'My dads out back, I should go' I said while leaning in for a hug. He hugged my back tightly and we rocked back and forth. We stood there together for a few minuets but I felt like seconds. It was perfect. I was regretting wanting to be friends.
