The first thing you remember upon waking up is being surrounded in absolute darkness. You don't know where you are, how you got there, or why, but something about this reminds you of any cliche horror film.

'A dark room,' you think.

'I am in a dark room.'

Though you were in darkness, your eyes soon adjusted to the lighting—or lack thereof—around your space. Suddenly, some form of a silhouette caught your eye. You swore it was in the corner of the room, but due to the lack of light around you, you weren't sure if it was real or if your eyes were playing tricks on you. The unfamiliar figure doesn't move, and because you don't know what it is, you decide not to approach it.

'That's what they do in horror movies,' you say in your mind. 'Obviously I'm not doing that.'

But not doing anything wouldn't progress this situation, so you figured to do something else.

"Yo!" You call out.
When you don't get a response, you attempt to get a closer look at this figure. As soon as you got close enough to the thing, your eyes are quickly met with the flash of bright light, turning on with a mechanical sounding bang.

"Agh!" You groan, shutting your eyes tight. It was like when a mom would wake up their child for school, opening up curtains for the sun to come in in hopes to blind the kid awake. But instead of pulling a bed sheet or blanket to block out the sun, you covered your eyes with your arm to help cover the brightness from fluorescent lights that hung from the ceiling.

After being stunned by the ceiling lights, you retake a look at your surroundings. The silhouette in front of you turned out to be a wax statue. Your eyes widen, and, tumbling back in surprise, you realize that it wasn't just you and this statue in the room. In fact, this room was filled with wax statues. But not just any wax statues. No, you recognize these unsettling figures in an instant.

Panic sets in, the Danny Devito Mafia has found you.

Not moving an inch, you cautiously watch the figures around you.
"Hi," you greet, your voice sounding small. Getting no response, you can't help but feel even more nervous. The Danny Devito wax figures just stared at you, menacingly. No one moved an inch, but soon, you recall your movements prior to this situation.

'I walked in here before,' you remember. 'But there was only one Devito. Where did the other ones come from-?'

The lights shut off again, stopping your inner monologue. But as fast as they turned off, the lights came back on again, and boom, that's when you realize the other

The Danny wax statue in the corner remains.

"Oh mama mia," you exclaim. "It's like Five Nights At Freddy's all over again." Except this time, it might as well have been called "Five Nights At The Wax Figure Devito's Place."

The lights going on and off seemed to become a reoccurring thing. When the single Devito figure disappears, you decide to book it when you spot a door you could escape from. Running out of the room, you enter a significantly larger area. Compared to the room you were in before, this one was more spacious. And it may be a good place to hide from the mafia. It had furniture, a desk and chairs, everything was clean and quite fancy. Almost too fancy.

Thanks to your clever deductions, you realized that you were now in City Hall. Standing in what you believed was a meeting room, a John Tory wax figure stood in the room with you, staring you down. You stare back, intimidated.

The lights go off again, and Mr Mayor takes a step forward. Seeing this happen, you practically freeze up, tears in your eyes.

You wanted to move, leave, but it was one of those times where your legs don't work like they used to before. Just like the song, and in horror movies.
