Walking into school today I saw Daniel and Ali where they normally are, perched up against Ali's locker, but decide to walk on for once.

Whilst getting my books for next period out of my locker, I see a tall figure standing on the other side. I shut my locker and see the masculine figure standing there with his blue sweatshirt and jeans

"Missed me?" Johnny says with his hands planted on my locker

I roll my eyes "of course I've missed you" I say mockingly, almost like I was now in a Johnny fan club. he was so effortlessly gorgeous.

He looks at me with a smirk on his face, "You think your funny don't you" he scoffs whilst rolling his eyes.

"I think I'm quite funny" I pause, "you on the other hand are very serious". I'm not lying, he is extremely intimidating but that's the beauty of it.

He gives me that 'oh really' face and I nod. "Are you sure about that Elizabeths" he starts to playfully punch me

"Yes I am actually"

"Are you sure?" He continues to punch me and won't stop.

"I said it the first time Johnny!"

He doesn't stop it so I grab his hand abruptly, attempt twist it, but it doesn't work. I forget he's exceedingly good at karate sometimes, but the thing is, his sensei doesn't specialise in self defence so I'm surprised.

"Better luck next time" he says to me whilst walking backwards, towards his class

"Shut up!" I say to him feeling a bit embarrassed but we all knew he could do that, he's Johnny Lawrence.

He grins at me before turning away to go to his class, I smile back at him sweetly, something I didn't think was at all in my books.

Throughout English I sat next to Daniel and all he kept talking about was Ali, as per usual.

"You know we were on the phone all night long last night" He gushes to me about his significant girl.

"And you guys still haven't kissed" I say back jokingly.

"It's just gotta be the right moment and at the moment it isn't" he pauses, "you know Johnny is still head over heels for her, he went in to kiss her a few days ago"

Liar. I should've known. My heart starts to beat faster and faster. I'm not filled with anger this time, I'm filled with a sense of sad emotion.

"Oh how do you know?" I trembled, trying to hide the fact I wasn't sad or jealous at all.

"Saw it all happen. You see, I was casually stood by my locker with the girl, talking about, y'know, 'life', then she has to go to class but gets stopped by the guy. All I see is him go in for a kiss for some reason, I thought he was over that?"

"So did I, I mean he should be" I reply not realising what I've just said to Daniel which could've blown it a little.

"What do you mean, he should be? Ellie, are you ok?" He asks me looking concerned and anxious about what im feeling right now and the answer to that is I feel like a complete idiot for trusting him in the first place.

"Fine" I remarked trying to resist the fact that I thought he'd change, but he never will.

Walking out of English, in the corner of my eye, I see him try and approach me.

"Hey" he smiles to me. I'm oblivious, I don't want the lying bitch coming anywhere near me. I should've trusted my gut before I jumped into conclusion.
