Wand of Light (Eijiro Kirishima X Reader)

Chapter 5

A Gaint walk toward a cabin, pushing a wooden cart off vegetables. Leaving him to hum his favourite tune so he leave the cart outside and walk into the cabin. The Giant walk to the cauldron to look what is inside as he saw Y/n and Kaminari.

"Hmmm, more more lunch. Ollie like lunch" smiled with glee, he walked over to his cutting board full of vegetables and starting to throw vegetables into the cauldron as Y/n and Kaminari move to not to get hit by them.

'HOW BIG ARE THE VEGETABLES!' Kaminari and Y/n dodged more then Oillie the giant name the vegetables "carrots, good for the eyes" he throw the chopped carrot to the cauldron . "Turnip a good source of phosphorus" he throw a bunch of turnip as well and Ollie move the vegetables off the cutting board to cut an onion.

"Ollie likes lunch. Bab.. nab a do" he sing and Y/n looked up as she saw a metal handle of the cauldron so just then Ollie is blowing into a fireplace and Kaminari lay down snuggling how warm he it 'Ahh so nice' if Kaminari moan Y/n awe at him "nice and warm isn't? Well we can't stay or we'll be stew! Come on."

Y/n stop because she heard footsteps when Ollie appear at the top of the cauldron as he took a bite of an onion and then burp at Y/n "ewww onion breath" using her hands to move the smell away from her nose.

"Ollie likes onion" then Y/n has an idea "poor poor Ollie. Maybe after you eat us, you won't be so scrawny." Kaminari and Ollie looked confused 'eh?'

"Scrawny? What scrawny?" He asked her and Y/n replied "honestly, weak, puny, skinny. I don't even know how you call yourself a giant." She click her fingers and Kaminari is way more confused along with Ollie "you see the Goliath down the road, he's a real giant. Big and strong. Compared to him, you're just a weakling."

Ollie corrected her "weakling! Ollie no weakling!" He punch the cauldron, causing it to shake and Kaminari eep and jump into Y/n arms 'mommy!' He hug her "well, he snapped a log into two with his bare hands." Ollie grab a log and break it into two in front of Y/n to see. "Like that? I strong!"

"You can do that. But, the other giant ripped the door right off its hinges!" Kaminari sigh in disappointment and Ollie walk to his door and kick it into pieces he move the cauldron to show Y/n his door.

"Look at that! What else. What else can he do!" He beg her to see more of how strong he is "well...nevermind. You can't do it." She pretended "Ollie can. Ollie can do anything!" He kissed his bicep so Y/n explained it.

"Well, the other giant can tie himself to a post, with a huge chain, lock it up, then break free with a single breath." Ollie scoff "ha! That's nothing." While Ollie is doing that task, Y/n grabbed her ribbon from her waist that look like to be a belt and tied it to a carrot to make a makeshift grappling hook. She throw it between the hole of the metal handle pulling it to make sure it work.

Ollie lock himself to a post and announced "who's the strongest giant Now?!!" He try pulling on the chain but it wouldn't break while Y/n climb up the ribbon with Kaminari on her back "hold on" she said and Kaminari says 'you don't have to tell me twice'.

When they reach the top, Ollie notice them but he continue to pull on the chain until Y/and Kaminari escape the cauldron. "Come back her! Ollie want lunch!" He yelled but since Y/n is ever so nice she wave goodbye Ollie "see ya Ollie!"

Y/n and Kaminari run as Ollie pull one more time very hard, which break the post he was tied to "oops" and when Y/n and Kaminari ran out of the cabin, the cabin collapse on itself and poor Ollie he whine in pain "ohh munch. Ollie lost lunch."

Y/n and Kaminari stop running to take a break and Momo see Y/n and Kaminari alive "Y/n you're all right! And you have Kaminari" Kaminari wave to Momo 'mommy!' So Y/n sign in relief "thankfully" then Y/n saw Kirishima "what are you doing here?" She cross her arms "well I was going to rescue you. Again." Y/n rolled her eyes but Kaminari eyes squinted 'he look like Red Riot'

"But you beat me to it." Kirishima added but Momo asked her "aside from that...how did you do it?" Y/n replied in a simple answer "one giant encouragement and uh.. a little ribbon." She show the ribbon and Kirishima shrug "a ribbon? That it!? You're braver than I thought. Manly" but Momo squinted her eyes and asked her sister "Y/n, can you hold it higher please?"

Y/n hold the ribbon up to her head and Momo gasp "no way! It's your exact height!" Y/n was confused what she meant "you really think so? I mean I guess" but Momo made it more convincing "no I mean it has your exact measure - a measure of courage."

Suddenly the ribbon start glowing in Y/n's hand and then transform into "a staff" Y/n ran to her oni san for a hug "we did it we did it" and Kaminari sparkle in awe 'pretty' so Y/n realeaed the hug "okay now we have to find the second piece." And Momo explained the second part "a gem of ice lit by hope's eternal flame."

Kirishima cross him arms and cleared his throat "sorry to interrupt princesses, but you actually think you're gonna build a wand of light?" He asked and Y/n sassed him "so? What's your point?" Kirishima explained "I'm sorry but it's just an old fairy tale!"

Y/n shows him the staff "didn't you see what's just happened?!" And Kaminari nodded 'yep definitely Red Riot'
"okay that was a little weird, but nothing's normal in this forest. That's no wand of light. You know why? Because it doesn't exist."

"Well thank you. Anymore helpful comments?" Kirishima shook his head no as an answer "guess not I'm going home." "You live around here?" She asked him and Kirishima answered "as a matter of fact." Y/n hum "hm. I'm not surprised." So Kirishima start walking away with his horse added with a scoff "wand of Light. Go ahead. Knock yourself out!"

Y/n turn to her oni san "he's such a.. mule!" But Momo chuckled "kawaii as well!" Y/n cheeks turn red "as if, I saw you how you and  Todoroki reacted" So Momo blush as well "and I won" but Y/n looked back at Kirishima for she notice the sword that he's been carrying.

Y/n runs over to Kirishima "wait! Hold on! Your sword. Where did you get it?" Kirishima stop his track and answer while looking at her "I made it" y/n was shock "you made it? Wow" Kirishima's cheek blush a little bit "don't sound so surprise, some people actually pay for my work." So Y/n added "I Umm...we need your help.When we have the three parts of the wand, we'll need somebody like you to put them together."

"Like me?" And Y/n nodded "very skilled" but Kirishima replied no in a polite way "I'm sorry but I'm very busy" he continue to walk away and Y/n explained more in depth "please Kirishima, I don't have much time. I only have three days to save my parents. I... I made a mistake and I need another chance."

Kirishima suddenly stop and whispered himself "another chance?" And Y/n thought of another deal "I'll even pay you for your services. All the gems you can carry! Please. I need another chance." Kirishima already thought it through so he turn to her "ok I will." Y/n smiled when he excepted.
