Mia's pov
I practically jumped out of bed remembering it is the last day of school. I wouldn't usually even care that it was the last day of school, but today's extra special. My brother Michaels best friend Luke is having a party. Luke is the bad boy in high school and I must say he is super cute!! I am startled by the sound of a knock on my door. "Come in!" I yell.
"Already out of bed?" My mom asks opening the door.
"Yeah." I reply.
"Okay well I have to leave for work can your get your brother up in a half an hour?" "Please?" She adds.
"Yeah, sure." I answer.
"Okay see you later."
"Okay." I grab a towel and a wash cloth from the hall closet and head into the bathroom for a quick shower. When I'm done I hop out get dressed in some high waisted acid washed denim shorts and a white lacy crop top from Forever 21. I quickly put in some makeup. Nothing to complicated just mascara and winged eyeliner with light pink blush. I grab my white converse and head down stairs to the kitchen to have a small bowl of Fruit loops and head back up stairs to wake Michael up. Un-surprisingly he is still asleep. His room smells like dirty socks, I hesitate to enter. I decide to stand at the door and call his name
"Michael, Michael, MICHAEL!!!"
He's shakes at the sudden volume change in my voice.
"10 more minutes." He groans
"No, mom is gone and she told me to get up, I already gave you 5 extra minutes to sleep." I lie.
"Okay fine, I'm getting up!"
I go back downstairs to pack my bag and I turn the t.v. Vampire diaries is on, I decide to watch it.
5 mins later Michael comes into the living room with Vegemite toast. We sit in silence as we eats. He disappears upstairs and comes back down after 20 minutes with his phone, back pack and is all dressed.
"Excited for the party tonite?" He asks
"Yeah, I woke up early from excitement!"
"Luke has some pretty sick parties."
"I asked around and heard the same." I reply
I glance out the window and see the bus coming up the road.
"Oh there's the bus, Michael."
"Okay let's go." He says
We get up at the same time and head out the door locking it behind us. It's summer so there is some pollen in the air and Michael sneezes.
"Excuuuuuuse me!"
"You are excused." I joke.
